to think i stuck with Steven universe through the beginning to end for 7 years without dipping out once... ever since i was 8. i watched every theory, looked at every fusion fanart, watched every episode from beginning to end.... It hits hard. This show has to be the greatest part of my childhood. remember when times were simpler and we were just trying to figure out if garnet was a fusion or not?

Now that su has ended, when I hear this I get so much goose bumps, and i start to tear up. Imagining Steven driving down the road with this track playing, would honestly have made it much more sad. Like this theme hits different. I'm going to miss Steven Universe, and the impact that it's had on me. It will never be forgotten.

I get so emotional when I listen to this. A lot has gone on in life since this song was made. Even now I wish to savor the moments of when this song was so fresh and new. It inspired a world of change within me. It still has that charm and that familiarity to it that i call upon every so often when I feel down. It’s simply tranquil and unique. ❤ 9 years ago when I was 20…. I didn’t know just how much of a role Steven universe would play in my life. I’ll be 30 this year… so crazy how a decade just came and went with so many happy and sad times.

This soundtrack makes me feel like I am in a car in the left back seat, with my head tilted to the window, and me looking out into the outside, seeing the sky pinkish blue and trees passing by me. Coming back from a road trip. I had fun, wherever I went to, and am thinking about the memories I made there. Replaying the best ones in my head like a movie. I will never forget them, I say to myself while I smile. I feel happy that there good things happened, but sad they are over. Nostalgia hits me, and I can feel a tear roll down my cheek from my left eye... "Thank you..." I whisper quietly to myself. I am not sure who I am thanking, my parents, my friends, God... myself? Whoever it could be, I thank them. Chills run down my spine and I close my eyes. One more time I replay the best moments from my trip, and then I fall asleep. Thank you ❤

This theme is so calming. I just began Steven Universe this past Thanksgiving, and I just watched the last episode of the original show last night. It has the feeling of lying on a grassy hill gazing up at the stars on a peaceful, moonlit night. It makes me feel calm and yet still has the feeling that’ll make you tear up too.

In fifth grade I went through a phase of listening to Steven universe subliminal videos that were supposed to turn you into a gem irl, mostly one video that played this song with some warbly sounds in the background. At some point my mom found out I was listening to them when I was meant to be doing homework and made me cut it out. At the time my reaction was a genuine “she can’t tell me what to do, I’ll wait until I’m an adult and then I can listen to it all I want!” I turn 18 tomorrow, that little dude sure can dream can’t he?
