Exactly, the whole song has a powerful meaning. Steven releases Spinel's hand and she stills extends her hand and tries to grab Steven again. Then, at the "some.....one" of Steven, he turns around and opens his arms trying to say "SOMEONE, maybe I can't, but there's someone out there" and she keeps staring Steven like if she was not actually hearing him, she just saw her "new" Pink/best friend. The rest of the song, Spinel keeps staring Steven, so she was thinking Steven was the one who wanted to be that person

0:55 This scene is so strong if you think about it. Here's my interpretation: When Steven says, "you just need to find someone" and stops holding her hand, it means that he wants her to be found however he isn't going to be the one, so he takes his hand away or hers while his hand is a little closed. Meanwhile, Spinel says "i just need to find someone" and he stops holding her hand, her hand is open trying to reach for his because she thinks he'll be the one that will find her, in the end she was "fooled" and that is just reinforced in the end of the song, when she says she's found but Steven goes tell the gems instead with being with her until the end. And she just realizes she was wrong when she deactivates her injector and Steven says his true reasons.
