My thoughts exactly, I wear one pair of shoes until they wear out so if each layer were to peel off semi evenly it would still look OK for a bit but I think that is the only good idea for this shoe otherwise why? Won't buy these but if they are much thicker and designed to last by slow erosion then I think it's an OK idea
