I tell you all, beginning of this year my down slide started. I lost my wife. My job twice( never been fired before, then twice in six months) lost my house, kids hate me. Went from respected and appreciated to a useless piece of shit fast…but I just signed papers with my wife ( she decided I was still a good guy and helped my ass back up) and I am moving in next week. My kids will be there. New job lined up. I did all this sober too mind you. I wasn’t drinking or using. I was depressed. I have some rather severe mental health issues sometimes. When I fall into the dark…the dark takes me… Keep up hope brothers and sisters. Life gets better…

Oh I'm praying for you! My dad did that back in the 1970's. Got himself sober and off skid row. Went to work on the oil rigs and called home to ask mom to let me go to California to live with him. She wouldn't let me 😢 But nothing can ever take away from the fact that I was the first person on earth that he wanted to share his sobriety with. 💜 Go make those kiddos proud dad! 🙏🏻
