Tbf to Asians the majority of them actually are lactose intolerant. But wait wouldn't that makes cheese better for them? Yes, but because milk is such a new things for Asians ( about a couple of centuries before it became a stable food source) that cheese are really strange for asians due to the amount of fatty acid that comes with it.

During the lockdown I had a Filipino friend in SF who was lamenting that they couldn't find rice anywhere in the entire city. None of the Asian markets either. I told him about a big Asian market I had visited once years ago in San Jose. This dude literally drove several hours on the promise of there maybe being rice there. And he was actually able to get rice there!
