wow, that just happened to me. I ended up re-truing the wheel with the spokes but only needed a 1/4 inch to the right. I didn't want to do it but I figured I would try once. It worked out great. I hope I did it good enough to be road worthy. Have a good week. I work in my garage. You work as a shop so I can say it is not time worthy for you to do it.

I had to send mine back because they couldn't re true to wheel without taking it apart, removing the coating that makes it air tight (tubeless) truing it and then putting it all back together. When I got the second one back it was an inch to right instead of a half inch to the left. So instead of just moving it a 1/2 to the right they moved it an inch and then it was literally on the fender. I sent it back again and they sent me one very similar to the first one...so i ordered wheels from Sinister...they will be going on soon in a new video.

So I’m curious to no did you tell them what offsets you needed when you ordered the wheel?

When you place a wheel order with any wheel company they ask you specifically what the rima nd tire are going on. A company that has been around as long as DNA has been they should know the offset of that bike. Un less you are wheel builder, the average joe will not know the offset ot even how to measure for an offset. that is why they ask what its going on. It was s simple mistake and they are fixing it so were all good.

I wouldnt know right off hand without doing some research myself...however there are a ton aftermarket fenders for softails on the market.

My Ride Wright rear wheel is offset to the right by about a half inch. But since most Harleys are that way from the factory I'm OK with it. For your wheel I'd have a local wheel lace guy, if you have one center it up. Shipping it back is not worth the hassle imo.

Yes they are supposed to be offset slightly to the right..from what I measured at our local HD its about an 1/8th..maybe a tad more. They sent me the RMA and return label so it wasnt bad..I still had the boxes...packed it, taped it and had fedex come pick it up...so not too much trouble..they have it now, we will see what happens.

Wow .. good i saw this video .. i have the same issue .. i noticed this when i was trying to install some led lights and took it to a mechanic who installed the tire and told me it was normal.. i being riding my bike like that for about 1k miles 🙈🙈 …. How can i get this fixed? Thanks for any input

Well after speaking to a few actual cholo bike builders yesterday they said I should have went with a 140 and not a 150 or even a front 130 and flipped around it around for the rear so the tire wasn't as wide..but they also said RUN IT...it wont expand out, it will only expand up at higher speeds so Ill be fine. So...im running it and see what happens.

@@sikbaggers More disappointed than anything... I ordered a 21" traditional spoked wheel, F&B rotors, and and chrome rotor bolts for my Deluxe.. The wheel came in in about a month ( Looks great) but nothing else.. We emailed back and forth multiple times and they said the hold up on the rotors I wanted was the powder coater.. After about two months they just sent me a set of rotors and stainless steel bolts. neither of which I ordered.. Like I said more disappointed than anything.

The same thing is happened with my 03 fat boy I was just wondering if that problem got resolved and is it really supposed to be centered on the fender I read somewhere that it is Offset to Counterbalance the balance of the bike

it is supposed to be offset about an 1/8th to the right..they have the wheel now and im waiting for them to let me know whats going on with it...but they at least let me return it on their dime

Well I dont know..I got the new wheel abck and its still close to one side..so im not sure what im going to do at this point..it fits decent with the stock fender but when I out on my cholo style fender it is pretty close...so still trying to work that out

I ran the 21 front, 18 rear, I have now switched back to the 16 rear...18 rear is too tall if you want to do air ride
