I always laugh at Dougie dancing with the chicken on this video 🤣 but they did a couple of these. Not sure if you remember but in a really old livestream someone requested Shine a light with Niall, James Arthur, and Olly Murs (fun fact: first ever gig Niall and Louis went to the opening act was actually McFly) and another where Danny covered 1D’s history with Robbie Williams and Chris Evans I think? So that might be a cool one to check out!

My mum works for the NHS, because of the new strain of covid they are a bit overwhelmed and run off their feet again, but it was nice in the UK that a lot of places donated gifts to NHS workers and the supermarkets had a separate early hour for them to shop without hassle. My mum also got given flowers from the supermarket. It was really difficult for them, but it was nice to see everyday people and businesses being generous.

At this point McFly are not like a fave band to me, they like relatives that do well and you're so fucking proud of them it makes your hear grow and break the ribcage lol)) Never for a second since 2007, when I first heard them, I doubt my love and respect for them. Even when they were at that hiatus I still referred to them as my fave ACTIVE band. I knew they'll be back and they are :) Music-wise I only felt like this three times so far. First is obviously McFly and it's been so long ago. Second time was after I saw their collab with Niall Horan and went to check his stuff out and started with Black and White. That song gives you wings, just like McFly music does for me. And third time was when I heard Harry's "Sign of the times" randomly recommended to me after Niall's second song. 1D is just a natural consequence, I was bound to love that band. But my all time faves remain McFly. Galaxy Defenders stay forever no matter what
