not for nothing SHINee is the standard, even when they are playing or even running around on stage they don't lose their vocal stability. And yes, they have a very solid fan base but they are underrated in the general public, however in Japan they are really well known, so much so that they are already considered a local group plus all five speak very good Japanese!

Yeah, I really love this performance! It was for Jonghyun's (the one in the black 'justin 4 ever' hoodie) radio show, Blue Night. This was at like 1am, and they still sound amazing. They're so talented, it's crazy. And you're so correct. SHINee have a very strong bond. They lived with each other for years, and were close, but argued a lot, as you can imagine five young men in one apartment would. But, after they each moved into their own places, they became even closer, and this video shows just a snippet of their amazing bond. SHINee are a family. To the point that they have all said they want to stay together as SHINee forever. Also, they say they love each other so much. They're a very lovey-dovey mushy group

If you check SHINee’s Don’t Call Me MV shooting sketch you would see how such pros the members are, and how they also enjoy while working together. They can go Pro Mode and dorks in snaps.. in seconds.

One of the things I love about SHINee is how sincere they are with what they do, may it be performing or whatever. And the way they enjoy each other’s company and try to enjoy while working.. coz this work is not easy and super tiresome.

SHINee as a whole is fantastic and when solo, they are also fantastic. They really do their own thing and it's amazing. I mean, from acting, soundtracks, cooking, musicals, investment shows, golfing and sports shows, hosting radio shows, tv shows, comedy shows and that's just this year. Their 2021 music releases alone are simply fantastic and they all have very strong individual personalities. imo, they are underrated.

The dance moves you saw SHINee doing during their radio performance of "Tell Me What to Do" wasn't them just messing around, they were actually playing around and mimicking the choreography that goes with this song. You should watch a live performance of "Tell Me What to Do" so you can see the choreography. If you have seen the MV then you know there is no dancing in the video, however, this was their title track on this album, so in order to promote with this song they have to have choreography for live performances. There is really cool and unique choreography that goes with the song. You will recognize some of those moves from this video if you watch a live performance. This performance of "Tell Me What to Do" was actually a live radio performance and it was on Jonghyun's Blue Night radio show in 2016. SHINee was on the show to promote this album. So not only was Jonghyun the regular host of the show, but he had to do double duty that night as a guest as well. The members are extra comfortable messing around on this show because it's Jonghyun's program and it's his work space, so it's just like if they were hanging out together. Plus, at this point they had been together for more than 8 years, so they are old pros when it comes to things like this. (This year was SHINee's 13th anniversary.) Jonghyun was the host of Blue Night which was a daily radio program that aired every night at midnight for 3 years -- from 2015 to April 2017. His program was really popular and he had a lot of fans. Jonghyun had the perfect personality and voice as a radio DJ and he loved being on the radio. He brought a lot of comfort and healing to his listeners every night. He also got a lot of inspiration from his listeners. He even released 2 albums with songs all based on stories he was told by listeners and guests on his show. We were all sad when he decided to end the show, but he was gearing up for his solo concert tour, as well as activities with SHINee, etc. and he could no longer devote the time or energy to be there every night. (When SHINee was out of the country for concerts or promotions, etc. Jonghyun would often have to fly back to Korea each night just to host the show. So it was understandable when he decided to stop hosting, he was becoming worn out.)

Hi! Thanks for your reaction and appreciation of the SHINee boys. They really do have a special bond with each other and were actually open about how much they didn't get along at first (especially Key and Minho) but are now super close. I love SHINee, they're my ult group. All of their solo work is amazing and just goes to show how extremely talented they are individually as well. Shinee is my second most favorite Kpop group, with EXO my #1. Minho is a great actor, also. I understand they’ve had some major blowups.

That's such a good point that success in a group like that for such a long time usually requires some level of closeness/happiness with each other. Maybe short term I could work with people I hate, but that much for years? No way haha. As for solo work, Minho just dropped a single called Heartbreak and Onew did a collab with female artist Punch called Way that you might be interested in checking out! I suggest a live performance of Way because I honestly think they sound better than the studio versions...

They talked about how They used to hate and fight each other. that was in the past when they were younger. That what make them great people. You can't keep your feelings hide. Must tell each other the truth. In my opinion one of the reasons makes them great group they are very honest people. Honesty first between each other then everything they do. This was for Blue Night which was Jonghyun's radio show! I think you would really appreciate this if no one has told you. Jonghyun actually has two EPs based on stories his Blue Night listeners sent in! It was a special corner on his radio show that translates to "Man Who Composes." He would get a story then write a song about it and release it on the show. Later on he compiled them onto the albums. They are Story Op.1 and Story Op.2. They are fantastic!
