Once you listen to his debut album Hypersonic Missiles, the vinyl will be right up on that shelf of yours. He is incredible, so glad you decided to listen to him.

So happy you've listened to this! His original music is on another level, though. Please consider listening to the whole album, I feel like you would love 'The Borders': the lyrics, the sax solo and the guitar solo are out of this world. Hypersonic Missiles, That Sound, Play God, Dead Boys, Leave Fast (and literally every single track) cannot be missed. Sam's songwriting is honest, authentic and raw, and his music is a breath of fresh air, with an important and meaningful message.

Also, if you want to listen to some live performances before checking out the album, I suggest you start with 'The Borders' for Vevo Lift and 'That Sound' and 'Play God' for VEVO DSCVR. His Bruce Springsteen covers (Atlantic City, Born in the USA, Dancing in the Dark) are top notch, if you wanna check them out too

I found out about Sam Fender when I went over to London 2 yrs ago, and then again last year! I have been waiting for America to see his artistry! He blew me away! I constantly show his music on twitter! He also blew me away by singing Bruce The Boss’s song.. “Dancing in the Dark” just guitar!! Beautiful, soulful authentic!)

I'm obsessed with Sam! Unfortunately missed out on seeing him live a week ago. Louis Tomlinson got me hooked on him. He's got a bright future ahead of him. Amazing lyricist, great voice and a funny lad on top of that.

I absolutely loved your reaction, you definitely should react to more of Sam Fender, he's really an amazing artist
@stevenpillivant17334 ай бұрын
He doesn't belt a tune, he doesn't have the biggest voice, he doesn't have a falsetto.....yet he has the richest, beautifully working class English tone that he extends comfortably in his range. His voice and lyrics are a comfort to fellow Brits and he does represent us better than any other current UK artists. This young man is genuine treasure.

I love Sam Fender! He’s relatively a new artist so I suggest you start with his Dead Boys Ep then move on to his debut album Hypersonic Missiles. Afterwards you should watch some of the amazing covers he has done and live performances. I’m so happy you are reacting to him!

Interesting that you should compare Sam's vocals to Sting. Both are "Geordies" from Newcastle in the Industrial North-East of England (like myself). There is an age-old Folk singing tradition in our region. And I think that comes out in Sam's vocals.

I think when you are comparing Sam to Sting, its probably because they both come from Newcastle Upon Tyne within a very short distance of each other. They are both "Geordies" and the accent is very, very strong, gritty, even when singing. Sam is AMAZING!
