It feels like a cowboy wandered into skyrim. I love this ambience. It is wonderful as a painter. And living in the Rockies, spot on. You should do an album of your ambience. I'd pay and download them. I need tunes to listen to off line as I'm off grid at 8500 feet.

This sounds great just as the 3 before this one have been. I like to turn these videos on while I'm doing school work. They help fill the deafening silence while not being distracting. You are doing amazing work, but don't burn yourself out. If you really enjoy making these that's great and keep doing it. It is ok to take a break though and do something else if you feel like making these are burdensome. Whatever you decide to do next, keep up the great work.

I've been homesteading in North Idaho since I got out of high school in 2017, and this is the type of music I hear in my head as I work in the garden, tend to the chicken, split wood for winter, etc. Now I can actually have it playing while I do those things! Man I love these ambience videos. The best thing about them is they don't get old. I've been working on a western trilogy and these videos have been perfect for setting my mood, they stay on loop all day when I write. Western Ambience got me through book one, and Western Ambience 2 Bayou has me plugging through book two. Leaving me to wonder if Steven Lynn has something for book 3 set in the winter.... yes, yes he does and it's epic! :)

I really love your Western Ambience videos. How are they created exactly? Do they use sounds or tracks from Red Dead Redemption or do they come from something else? Have you thought about making a 10 hour one?

The nature sounds are all either recorded by me or tracks that I licensed. The music is all written and performed by me. It's not based off of any specific music in the game, just meant to evoke the same kinds of feelings I'd get from playing it. This one is probably the least RDR sounding one. I'd love to make a 10 hour video but that's a lot of music to write without just looping it. Check out the playlist in the description for all four of them if you need to fill more time haha. I didnt play red dead story mode when it first released. But the online multiplayerbgot me hooked because there is so much freedom to explore. So i look at the map and tought that would be cool to explore the snowy mountain. So i ride to this lake, similar to this video and was in aw of the scenery. Suddenly a huge fog came thru , after a few minutes of finding my way out i heard a fierce grow, then it gets louder. .....to my suprise a large shadow emerged in front of me , a bear...a fucking grizzly BEAR !! I was on foot and no time to react and was mauled to death. After respawn i run back the place i died to look for the bear but it despawned. Thisngame is awesome and bring goodnmemories So
