Excellent work as always and I particularly like the shot of the helmet 3D printing from above, makes me think that in the SW Universe that's how they would have made Vader' actual helmet/head covering. Also as a side note, Vader's eye coverings were deep Red at the point of A New Hope/Rogue One and including in Rebels before those events. They change to black in Empire and Return.
@johnpeace9712 жыл бұрын
I've always assumed the red lenses were a practical thing for Prowse to be able to see and that we were never meant to see his eyes through them. It was just a mistake. I always assumed that in universe he had no actual eye holes and those lenses were the cameras he used to build an internal 3D display. Visible eyes are just the limits of film tech at the time. Also, if we were to ever see the making of the helmet it would be smelted out of molten metal, not 3D printed. I feel this part of the sculpture is totally cheating. The helmet should have been hand sculpted as well. The only work the sculptor did here was make a face to go inside the helmet and a copy of something his computer made. Not belittling the sculpting, but the computer assist was straight out cheating
@anonymystical44132 жыл бұрын
@@johnpeace971 I mean, in every appearance except for Kenobi, Pre-ESB/Post-ROTS Vader has had red lenses, in Rebels, CW Season 7, Rogue One, and ANH. Safe to say that he did, canonically, have red lenses until ESB
