You can really hear Anakin’s descent into darkness. His 1st theme is innocent and light hearted. In his 2nd one, you can hear the doubts and the darker thoughts creeping in. The 3rd one is him falling head first into the darkness and the hate and the anger. The 4th is him kind of apathetic and fully embracing his dark self. Broken. The 5th is him raging over his plan having been foiled by the rebels. The anger towards his “master” and als the disappointment at Luke not following him. And the last one: He finally let’s go of all the hate & anger that he has been holding on to for over 20 years. And is finally at peace and able to return at his wife’s side.

did you just say the 2nd one you can hear doubts and darker thoughts creeping? its literally a love theme, its lighthearted, upbeat, innocent... at no point during it do you hear anything that could resemble doubt or dark thoughts, for doubt and dark thoughts the track "the tusken camp and the homestead" is the best for that

I kinda always knew there was some light in Vader, before knowing much about Anakin. For example, while he was always indefinitely angered, it was not easy to tell. He never really “exploded” for a small reason like Kylo Ren. And when he’s fighting, he’s calm and precise (unless he’s fighting obi-wan). That makes him seem like more of a Jedi to me.
@victoriaanne6332 Жыл бұрын
Yeah I feel like there were little hints of him being not fully dark even before return of the Jedi. Like how he doesn’t want to kill Luke and how he stops the Boba fett from shooting chewie

Darth Vader never exploded for small reasons because he was more methodical. Kylo Ren was a feeler. If you're familiar with MBTI, he's an INFP villain. @Dathemyr10 ай бұрын
@@JHowOfficial I wouldn't say Anakin wasn't a feeler. If anything, he was probably more of a feeler than Kylo Ren. The matter is who was he feeling his emotions towards. Darth Vader was perpetually angry, but it never showed because the difference was who was he angry at. Vader was angry at two people, Himself, and Palpatine, but more so himself. He despised himself so greatly and utterly that there have been times that he's done things that would've been suicide for literally anyone else, but the man is too angry to die, so the dark side kept him alive. Vader hates himself because he was the man who killed Padme, the love of Anakin's life. It's also the reason he refuses to die, so he can continue to suffer as punishment. He let himself take the brunt of his anger, because it punished the man who killed Padme, instead of letting it punish an innocent computer console. The times he did lash out, were when incompetent officers caused massive amounts of unnecessary death. He still had his leadership side from when Anakin was a general, and gross incompetence was not something Vader would abide as a result. He didn't care about the individual soldiers like Anakin did, but he wouldn't suffer failure.

Because since he's diagnosed by both ADHD and BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), it makes sense why he's so anxious, desperate and eager to save and protect those he truly cares and loves with his very life from uncertain and unexpected deaths like his own mother Shmi and his secret wife Padme. I can understand the confusion some people have when in AOTC they say it has been 10 years. The film doesn't exactly say the exact number of months that had passed. Same thing with ROTS. the war had said to be going on 3 years, but really it was 3 and a half. His age absolutely matters when you look at when he turned to the darkside (23) and when he died (46) he spent half of his life on the light, and half on the dark. Balance.

He was the best of us. He was the darkest of us. He was the kindest of us. He was the cruelest of us. He was the epitome of greatness. He was the pit of evil. He saved us. He cursed us. He saw a beginning of innocence. He saw an end of suffering. He was Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Knight, Sith Lord, Darth Vader, Chosen One, Father.
