Thanks Steven, I have been using C41 to process my Kodak Vision 3 film, but I have just purchased a ECN2 kit. Reading the notes I thought the same about reducing 41 degrees to 38 and adding more time, good to see you have tried this with success. I will try 4 mins @ 38 and see how it works.

Hi Steven, I did try Kodak Motion Picture Film Vision 3 250D. I processed it using a C41 powder kit, the results were a little bit contrasty but very good. Your ECN-2 processing tutorial is very useful with lots of great information. Thank you for the video!

In the US you can now buy ecn2 development chemical kits for home use. Probably more expensive than mixing your own but if you don’t want to mix it is an easy solution. No harder than c41.
Love your channel Steven. Do you have a particular model of steel reel that you prefer? Thanks.

I am using HEWES reels it’s the best film reels I have ever used. The new model of HEWES looks better, allow to using Jobo 1500 tanks. But coast 70 usd that’s too expensive.

Hi Steven, 很喜歡你的影片。能否詢問更詳細的developer的replenishment方式?如果買的是柯達原本的replenisher A和B,配成developer,那麼要如何進行補充呢?謝謝!
Thank you for this wonderful video! I'm a film photographer in Japan as well, but I haven't gotten into developing color at home yet. Can you tell me where you purchased your ECN-2 developer from? I haven't found it for sale anywhere here.
@StevenTanno Жыл бұрын
Actually the developer I bought from China.

Hello I’ve seen selling old 35mm film in the net. They seem to come from old stock from some photographic shop. They seem to be in good, no color discolouration of the carton box. Brands Kodak ektachome, gold, T max and fugi. Is it worthy?, they sell for 4 euro each instead of 26.

You can try one or two first.:)

Hey great video! Can I ask where you got the Sodium Bromide? I'm looking for it in Japan but can not find a source
@StevenTanno10 ай бұрын
I didn't buy it in Japan, I bought them from China because they are expensive in JP.

But how to scan it correctly? ECN 2 is supposed to be scanned into a 16bit logarithmic cineon file, and then your supposed to add the kodak 2383 lut in davinci resolve.
@StevenTanno5 ай бұрын
Yea, it’s hard to do color correction on a scanner because my Minolta doesn’t know base color of cone film. I’m working on it.

@@StevenTanno You can also look into developing it in black and white developer

Hello Steven, a big fan from Hong Kong!! 很喜歡你上幾支影片拍的Eterna 250,但我在網上哪裏都找不到哪裏可以買得到。所以想請教你一下🙏
