Basically Def player bear crawls between two o-line players low, one hand between one olinemen and one hand goes between the other one. Defender shoulder pads will hit shins of the two players. The Def starts to roll throwing butt into one of the Olinemen usually outside one and Def hands and arms will get tangled up with the oline legs too. This should create a pile. To help out on Wedge play they will usually grab back of heels of Olinemen for a quick pull and release, do not hold for very long otherwise penalty.

Got to play a wishbone offense (2 Tightends) this Saturday, they like to run power sweeps, fake power sweep bootlegs to opposite side, bootleg with Tightend options (the frontside TE running a corner post and the backside running a post), fullback dive, and off tackle...any suggestions on defensive personnel and alignment. Good quarterback that's big, fast running backs, and a short stubby fullback...by the way, their O-Line is huge. Any suggestions would be much appreciated...Thanks

What are their top 5 plays? Sounds like they do everything. What do they do the best? What plays are you worried about.

The fullback dive may scare me a bit because I have smaller guys playing Gunner and Knob. Also one of my middle linebackers is a question mark as I will be missing one of the guys I wanted to try out at middle linebacker. Since most teams run sweeps in this league, i put my 2 best tacklers at OLB and my fast athletic guys are at the corners and at Fred. So all in all, I would rank, the 1) power sweep, 2) qb boot with pass option, 3) qb boot to off tackle, 4) qb dive...I am still trying to figure out who is who on the defense...I was debating on putting my best tacklers in the middle but afraid they would hurt us on sweeps and now i am afraid that they may kill us with dives and off tackles. I know I am rambling but again I would say my strong points are the 2 guys at OLB, my corners, and FS

NO you must stop the Sweep if they are running the power Sweep. Sometimes, I will move Fred down to help the wide side OLB / DE with all the lead blockers on the Power Sweep. Your backside contain guy must be trustworthy to deal with the boot of QBs and LBs cant just fly off. Have the ILBs read second step or take a bounce step if they run a lot of boots. CBs must read run pass fast and help quickly with Sweeps. Sounds like a tough game. maybe you need to key the QB since hes running everything.

I have a read Jack Reed's book. I have tinkered with it and then focused on my 62 Multi 8 to make it work. I use a Gap 8 on Goaline thats my tinkering. :)
