12 months a year I’ll choose a jerkbait! This is my confidence bait. Winter is when it shines, but the biggest thing is slowing it way down since the bait fish are lethargic, that’s exactly how I fish a jerkbait, two twitches and a long pauses. Rocks are my targets! Great vid Steve!

For that type of fishing I will throw 8 or 10lb fluoro. If I have braid spooled on it is almost always 50lb. Some of the braids on the market have such low diameter now. I will tie the 8 or 10lb fluoro to the braid then.

I know this has nothing to do with anything, but I gotta be honest here. I'm kinda dreading releasing tomorrow's vid. It's a list of worst lures I used in 2022 and unfortunately, Strike King made the list with the Hybrid Hunter. I'm telling you this because I have literally made myself sick over it. I even toyed with the idea of trashing the entire video and redoing it. I know you are a Strike King guy and they are one of my favorite brands. Heck, you know I talk about them all the time. I just don't want you to think I'm being click baity or just trying to get views. You have been a huge inspiration to me not just as an angler, but as a content creator as well. I even struggled with including it on my list. But that wouldn't have been being true to myself. And I thought you would probably respect that more.
