@Entitled Millennial You know what, I tend to disagree a bit. Don't get me wrong, I don't think this kind of music is hard to produce in the absolute (musically not great) but I think this is really a science in itself to make it sound good (or rather, effective, catchy, well one that doesn't make your ears bleed you know). It's not because it is simple that it's easy to do. For example I'm trully unable to give a basic structure to my music, I always digress as fuck in a proggy way.

Idk man I think the doo is actually a better guitar player...I’ve been playing for 15 years and I’m maybe only a couple years behind them both in skill. Dooo shreds while making better sounding music, and stevie does super crazy shit but it doesn’t really sound catchy. Stevie shreds but he isn’t as good at melodies. I still love stevie I’m just giving a very realistic opinion based on my subjective musician experience.
