Are we gonna mention the fact that Stevie T is incredibly talented and literally made this whole thing just as a joke but it was better than 98% of the radio
@ooosh420
@ooosh420 4 жыл бұрын
Thats kinda the point. These kinds of songs are stupidly easy to make. 4 chords in 4/4 time with the kick on every beat. Add lyrics and harmonies. Done. Steve is talented but talent isn't necessary to create this. I get my students to create this type of song in their first 2 weeks of learning guitar. All recorded. They don't even know its happening until they turn up and i give them a copy of the finished product and tell them it's them playing. Really helps boost their confidence and keeps em coming back.

The four-corner market square, huh? My memory is there You were there by my side I saw the sparkle in your eye You taught me how to fly But I won’t take flight Without you by my side So I'll just wait on the ground That’s where I'll be found Until the next train comes around I'll just wait on the ground That's where I’ll be found Until the next train comes around Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Huuuu, huuuu Will you reach out and fly? Where is the stuff about being vegan coming from? What’s the reference there? Ed Sheeran loves his Five Guys. His ugly ginger mug is plastered all over my local Five Guys restaurant. He did some promotion for them: shop.billboard.com/products/billboard-back-issue-volume-127-issue-33 Ed Sheeran is definitely not a veggie or vegan.

Take note that the first pass of the progression he hits the 7th fret on the G string then the second pass he hits the 7th fret on the B string that is the only place it is different. Enjoy.

Not really sure about that... I mean he is gifted, but I don't believe I am but still, I knew what's supposed to be in a song to make it sound like Ed Sheeran's song. If you realize what somebody's style is, you can copy the style and create something new.
@samueltambunan6897
@samueltambunan6897 4 жыл бұрын
Robert Hanžek well going by your argument, the amount of people who made decent songs should be lot more than what existing in the market to date. Thing is, even copying others formula wasn't that easy. Trying to sound like some band doesn't equals producing same catchyness or special hook etc. Just see it yourself, how many rappers with "lil" who succeeded? Or how many leotard glam rocker who made it back then? With so many talented producers around copying each others - still few of em landed worthy stuff to listen to.
@roberthanzek4634
@roberthanzek4634 4 жыл бұрын
@@samueltambunan6897 yeah, but musicians are making music in their own style, they have their own type of expression. Every band and/or performer has unique style which can be copied and any song can be transfered into that style. Check out TenSecondSongs on KZbin and you'll see what I mean. I'm making music for 3 years by now, which is nothing compared to Stevie and every now and then I give myself a challenge to record a song in a style of someone and I do it in about 2 hours tops (gotta admit, those songs weren't too complicated, but that's not the point either) It all basically comes down to doing a little analysis about which instrument plays what and you just transfer it to another key, another rhythm, tempo or anything else that will make the song the same as if it was written by somebody you've tried to 'copy'. Still I gotta give props to Stevie T, I'm not saying I'd do it better than him (lol xd), just wanted to point out it doesn't really have to be that hard, especially when it comes to musician as good as Stevie T is!

I think the word "vegetables" should've popped up in the song somewhere, then "I'm nervous"😂song came out good though. Think I'll have to add it to my playlist. It's definitely better than what I hear on my works radio station lmao

That song sounds 100% legit, Until it gets to the guitar solo, then it’s far too good to be an actual pop song.

Lol yep then it would actually take some musical talent to write something like that, rather than some guitar playing a 5 year old could do.

The fact that Stevie T can make these studio hq songs fit for the grammys at his desk in his room, either proves the music industry is cheap or that Stevie T is a God. I think he's a God in my opinion.

A basic set up for home recording of a mic and audio interface that all come with Ableton ( you used to be able to choose Pro Tools but only Ableton does the free versions now) and you can record a song for less than $1000. With DAW programs and everything digital you no longer need massive mixing desks and DAT and effects units as all that can be done with a mouse in a computer. So technically you’re not wrong but saying the music industry is more affordable would be more accurate.
