A delicious lovechild of the Sazerac and Manhattan! On the sweeter side for a spirit-forward cocktail but it was really tasty. After a few more subsequent sips I really started to notice the underlying cherry.. did you like my new range of mixing glasses? If so - there are some links below... That little smile right after you start stirring/shaking a drink is my favourite part of these videos. Also definitely trying this.

"Well... I am not one for history... there was an explossion, some blokes got shot... and that's as good reason to drink cocktails as any other! Cheers!" Splendid intro, thanks for all these lessons, I am sure aspiring amateur bartenders are learning a lot from you. I know I do!

I like that Steve the Bartender is a burly strong man that likes a good drink. Those types of guys are few and far between where I live.

Like this one during colder months. I tend to use cask strength rye to punch through the sweetness and sip it for a few hours.

Well, shoot, now I have to find cherry heering... Two of my favorite beverages together on this one

Elizabeth Wilcox if you have good cocktail cherries like luxardo or homemade use the syrup and it will be spot on.

So I've seen some recipes include 2 dashes of Absinthe for this. Do you know which way is more common?

Please include a blooper at the end of al subsequent videos. It makes you human. Thanks for being honest about the whiskey, bad for them but good for us
@StevetheBartender_5 жыл бұрын
I only include bloopers if I actually make one... and if I think it will be entertaining.. I can't just make them up ;)

Hi Steve, can you please make a video talking about bitters? I bought Angostura's bitters for making lemon lime bitters. Except for using in Manhattan, is there any other place to use the bitters?
@StevetheBartender_5 жыл бұрын
I have a very long list of videos to do but I will add it to the list. Here are a number of Angostura / Aromatic Bitters cocktails: kzbin.info/aero/PLSOyd4ZezLod99oeoQngts3s8y5hEpxFE

Hi Steve, would love you to do a series off making some subscriber cocktails! First suggestion is mine being the hazy sunset, 35ml Spiced Rum, 10ml Benedictine, 10ml Coconut Rum, 10ml Pineapple Juice, 10ml Lime Juice. Shake and strain into coupe, then 3 drops of grenadine through the drink to create sunset look!
