It worked!!!!!! I followed this and I am now very very happy and much in love with my new baby! He is a professional athlete and he said women gave it up to him so easy that he did not try for them at ALL! Try for what?! So sex for him just became something to do with those women. He did not even know how to love a woman. I set my standards high and I challenged what he was comfortable with. One thing that helped was that I never verbally told him know I showed him with my actions that it was a no. But, every single woman in america has the ability to use the court system to MAKE a man give them things that do cost them financially. So, to you, I say women are not screwed. I came across this book and read it. It's actually pretty good. Definitely recommend it; it's not going to give you the answer to everything and there are a lot of differences between men. However, there are also many underlying similarities between them and I feel this book really helps you to better understand their mentality ,in general, and how to approach situations with them. No one really tells you these things when you're a girl growing up so most of the time it's trial and error, taking your gfs advice or learning from mistakes, all of which aren't ideal. After reading this I've been able to reflect on myself and previous interactions, understand what I'm doing well, where I've been going wrong and what I need to work on. I thank God I found it as I do feel I've learnt a few things that will help me with future interactions. Thank you Steve and God bless you.

I’ve read act like a lady think like a man. While I agree with the majority of what he says in it. The only thing I don’t like is, he says the cookie ( sex ) is a necessity in a relationship ( yes I get that ), but he also said if you don’t give your man sex for a couple months straight he WILL go and cheat on you. He even said he would if his own wife didn’t give him sex... i find that very messed up, and no I’m not trying to read in between the lines, he said this straight out. A 90 day wait is such an idiotic and arbitrary way of trying to figure out if a man will commit to you or not. There is no guarantee that anyone will stay with you after x number of days. The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to go with the chemistry you’re both feeling. If you want to sleep together early on, then that’s completely fine. Imagine having to wait 3 months before you realize that your sexual chemistry is not what you had imagined. What if you’re the one that doesn’t want to commit after 3 months? Don’t waste time, is all I’m saying.

Truthfully the only issue I ever had with this book was that I was always under the belief that it should happen naturally rather than forcing it to wait until a certain point that doesn't mean put out on the first date but rather let yourself decide when you feel is an adequate time whether that be three months a month or whatever the case may be it makes me a little sad that some women have to read a book from a man to come up with rules like why can't they think for themselves? Granted some women may have not had the best of luck when it comes to guys but that's mainly because part of it is because they're not looking in the right places so even if they follow these rules you know they have to analyze the guy

True, it's good to use as a guide, but I agree, ultimately it's up to every woman to decide when she's ready, when she feels safe enough and trusts him enough to sleep together. The amount of time a woman needs is always up to her individually. We all have different comfort zones. But I think it's important for women to figure out clearly what their time frame is and stick to it when dating. Maybe it'll be different with different men, but generally I recommend setting a time frame you're comfortable with: 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, until you're in a committed exclusive relationship, until you're engaged or until you're married, however long it may be. But stick to it for your own clarity. Once you know when you're ready, you can relax and not feel pressured. And be firm with your boundaries.

So how I understand, this is the rule for those who want to have a meaningful relationship and not a 1-2 month boyfriend. We have to teach these men nowadays to treat us women with respect and value us , without women they cannot exist. So why we allow them to have everything so quick and we explain so much to them and still don't get results. Oral might actually be worse. I have an unofficial rule of no oral the first time we have sex. The worse type of tramp is a headmaster. I know several men who will not have sex with a woman but will allow her to go down on them. Plus, Steve Harvey didn't say no touching; he said no sex. I'm sure some make-out sessions are fine, even a little dry-humping close to that 90 days. But any phallic penetration of any of a woman's three holes is a no-no.

There are a lot of party girls out there and that's OK. Steve's just trying to help the one's who want more of a long lasting relationship. It's how to be the one he brings home to mama. A lot of guys out there still have "fam values" , not in some right-wing nutjob sense of the word, but in a "someday have a family sense. Your woman wil lRespect your mama and know her place in your mama's home. She will listen to your family's advice, even if she doesn't follow it. She'll bring food to your family members when they're sick or hurt, or there's been a birth or death in the fam. This 90 days no sex rule is BS. It's a relationship, not a game. Don't torture me with arbitrary made up dates and numbers (like the "what has to happen at the first, second, third date" etc.). Be yourself, do what feels natural.

It's about not playing yourself, letting a man get what he wants before he shows he's in, and actions speak louder than words. So many have slept with a guy and then they ditch very soon after or within three months they find out something they can't accept about a man, and you think well damn I jumped the gun.
