After 15 years with ME, she deserves it. :-) Seriously though, throughout the relationship I've been happy to help my wife achieve her goals and dreams while she supports mine. Patti believes that she has a right to "cash in" on particular mens' successes right off the bat even as she brings little to the table herself other than "valuing herself." Of course, someone should have basic human respect for themselves but viewing oneself as an entitled princess is largely unattractive to (smart) successful men. If men have become worse in recent times, Patti can thank the feminism she praises for how she started her own business and made HER own money but that's HER money to spend on "independence". So as far as the kind of men she wants, most of them simply can do BETTER. Patti certainly has no problems reminding men that not all of them deserve her no matter what he thinks his "value" is and the same goes for her. If she wants a short Starbucks manager to buy her a free dinner at Applebies and open her car door for her, I'm sure that t here are plenty of gentlemen out there like that. Why is everybody judging this lady for being single. We all know how hard it is to come by "true love" or "the one". I've known great women and men who have been single for years just because they couldn't find the right one. After a while it may not be your first priority to look for love. IT is hella time-consuming. I believe it's harder on her and others because she knows what she wants (plus she's a matchmaker, I wouldn't wanna be in those shoes) and she might not just want to settle for less. She also comes off as a very direct "say it like you mean it" well of woman which I am sure the fraction of men around her age may find intimidating. I'm not a matchmaker, but it is a job profession, not who she is. She was also in a messy situation back then with her last fiancée I believe. First and foremost she is a woman. If she did a J-lo or Mariah Carey and pounced from toyboy to fiancé to marriage, ya'll would be judging her for dating too much or having several failed marriages.
