Great finale but I wish the entire season went at this pace. Felt like we are 3 seasons in and have learned very little. Starting to become like Lost. Definitely need to ramp it up for season 4

in lost we had like 24 episodes per season, we would be 1,5 season that way with those 30 episodes

@ well at that pace this show will last 20 seasons which isn't going to happen. People want the show to progress and this season felt like a let down. We got a few questions answered but then a ton more unsolved. It should end in season 4 or 5. Any more than that is going to be dragging the show out

I got questions! It says people sacrificed their children so they could live forever - since Tabitha and Jades daughter was a sacrifice, wouldn’t it have been one of them that killed her? If they keep coming back, is that how they are living forever? Or do they become a monster when they get sacrificed? Who was the guy in yellow? Was he like the monster god?

I had to listen to your explanation to understand what had happened. I didn't know who Miranda was and Julie's hairstyle change threw me. I can't believe that we have to go a whole year before From continues!

it is crazy that you mentioned DARK. Literally, a couple of episodes ago, I was thinking it reminded me of that show, and then you said it. I think we can assume that someone on the writing team is a DARK fan...as we all should be!

Managed to avoid spoilers but damn, there was a shot of Elgin post-Sara on a couple YT video thumbnails this part week, thank God I thought it was fanart, and it was cropped so it wasn’t clear he was tied up in a chair, or that would have been ruined. Glad his character shud be sticking around, upon work first watch and especially with the odd editing choice (all we hear is bloody murder screaming for 15 seconds, I guess this included the words ROOT CELLAR!! 😂) I thought maybe she ultimately stabbed him through the eye into the head! For me the re-birth of Smiley was the weakest of the four primary plots/reveals, but combined w the playing of the song/return of the children strengthened it some, and am glad Fatima survived. Poor Jim. The callback to the radio voice was a nice touch rite before the shocking death. And yes Hannah was great here, and Catalina killed it this and especially last episode!!

Its weird, I liked the episode but I am still annoyed and unsatisfied with that ending. Like sure they answered some questions but none of the ones I was most interested in knowing about. Also at the same time they opened a whole can of worms with many more questions. I just feels like we will never know whats going on in this show! I was really hoping they would explain things that have been lingering around since season 1 and 2, such as; can they/how do they leave the town, the boy in white, the spiders that Boyd and Sara saw when their tent got moved and Abby being webbed up, explain Martin (the old man locked up in the tower), whats going on with Randal, Marielle and Julie (they seem to know something that we dont), the Talismans and how do they work. I would really like to know how many seasons they are aiming for to kind of calm my nerves lol

This show is what lost could of been!! Gave us answers and a lot of them. Yes there is more questions and i cannot wait for season 4. Sarah is one badass i love her now! Poor jim i loved him too and im hoping it was just a julie memory walk and hes not dead because jim is a huge part of this show i refuse to believe hes gone for good. Brilliant finale absolutely had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. What s beilliant show! Jade is baddass to but im telling you they all have been there before. And im telling you julie story walked to jum getting killed and it hasnt happened yet so that was a way to trick us to believe jim is really gone. I can't wait until season 4 omfg!!!!!

People in the comments seem to want everything revealed at once, but that would be the end of the show. I've never known a mystery show to give anything up easily. I think the writers give up just enough to keep things interesting. 👍🏻

You got the death, you are so knowledgeable about movie stuff that you could see the death of Jim a mile away.. Ut it was a great finale . I was not as critical as most of reviewers and viewers who complain about the slow pace and the mysteries. I find all the fun in procrastinating week after week, yes i feel frustrated too, bit i still find the fun is in that. But i am older that most of the audience and i grew up on week to week tv shows. Sometimes season to season…i have got a different kind of patience . Steve i thank you like always. Love you now it is years that i often watch things based on what you are reviewing . I feel there is a connection. Always need a second watch for real commentary, but i wanted to thank you first !

The newer generation of TV viewers don't have the patience necessary for shows like this; they want all episodes dropped at once. I wish this show had 20 episodes like the shows I grew up watching.

from is easily one of my favorite shows and I do think this was a very strong finale but for me, the creatures are more human this season and less scary somehow. they don’t seem like things anymore they seem like ppl. they’re petty. even in what I think was the strongest scene of the season - the barn - where you have harold acting his ass OFF, the creatures seemed very different. like a home invasion not like little nightling things. and acosta is still throwing me every scene. she’s doing too much. but im still watching im still on board.

The real question no one's asking is, who was the granny monster’s child? How the hell did she have a young kid to sacrifice lol? She looks like she's in her 80s. I’m assuming the children were all young when they were sacrificed.

@@ZackKahn-i1g idk could be, but Fatima explicitly said, "They sacrificed their children." It's clearly some sort of deal with the devil, and it wouldn't be much of a sacrifice if you didn't give up anything. So the implication that each person gave a child is pretty strong there.

I was sad that the town broke Boyd, Sarah didn't really save him cause Boyd did the deed. Boyd needs to step down though. Let police officer acosta take over 😁 ... boyd is not sacrificing his family for any town 👍 .... im here for season 4, theyll need to remind me though

I'm honestly getting a bit bored of From. I really enjoyed season 1 and season 2 was more of the same and still enjoyable. Season 3 did drag on imo. For a show to be consistently good, for me, it has to ask questions but answer some of them at some point. It just seems like From asks questions then just continues on and asks more questions without answering anything. I probably will watch a fourth season but I really do hope for better to come.

They come at night , is the main threat for the people where is the monsters in this season ? They fill the plot with pieces like how we have power or communication antenna (for zero reasons ) to new bus characters to justify what ? where is the connection on this season with the other two? The time traveling and the plot holes is just a paradox for every series or movie (example lost , Dark ) you need to use them with care not as easy way to keep going. I dont expect to build a walls ,weapons , traps (you have max 20 known monsters ) just to harden the monsters to come near you (the most reasonable choice ) i expect to give a plot with start middle and end . The talismans is a mimic way to give us safe house option for now ,with this route on future is easy to have smiley remove and throw a talisman and say " they don't have any power we just love to see all of you have this idea of safety "

Super finale episode... Wtf happened there, wtf, wtf... I thought tabitha was eloise because victor said he wasnt sure the parts he buried were eloise's. And i hate it when i am wrong and my sister who's also watching was right. But the writers made some of us believe tabitha was eloise so they could surprise us. So maybe eloise is still alive. But they didnt surprise my sister who knew it all along that tabitha was miranda and all the other people before who were asked to save the children. Maybe 60% of the viewers already saw this plotline for tabitha 1 season ago. So they made a mysterious character out of tabitha with lots of theories from the fans and as it turns out its the most boring 1 off all. S04 of tabitha will be her stuck in an identity crisis because she would lose her mind over this place , especially after what happened later on the episode Season 4 is gonna suck because tabitha and jade were the only people trying to solve things....

NO!!!! The original inhabitants were a couple and had a child who, even though they didn't want to be sacrificed, it happened, they couldn't save him...Christopher and Miranda were their reincarnations, just like Jade and Tabitha are the reincarnated ones now, Tabitha is not only Miranda but also the original inhabitant whose child (one of the Anghkooey children) was sacrificed

the show is not as smart as it pretends to be. It's entertaining, though. Lot's of shaking your head and yelling at the tv. Sort of along the lines of classic horror movies where the person heads down the dark stairs cause they heard a noise and say "is anyone there" before dying.

​@@SteveVarleyShow I prefer season 1 which seems to me the most balanced between: horror, mysteries, the palette of characters, suspense etc. Season 2 has a big rhythm problem but more impactful scenes. Season 3 is more balanced but we lose horror, shocking/impactful scene. Objectively, Season 3 is better than Season 2, but I remember a lot more memorable moments in Season 2.
