I remember listening to a radio interview with Steve not long after Glen passed. He was absolutely heartbroken!! Glen was a musical prodigy and first to have crossover hits in Rock, Pop, and Country.

I just watched an old episode of Wagon Train from 1956. It was one dealing with the rights of women to vote and one of the lines in that show was "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world." I thought about this song immediately and can't help but wonder if there might be , in some slight instance, be a connection between the two? Perhaps the writer of the song saw this episode and later penned the song...

How many songs did they work together on--and why not more? I wish Glen had covered more songs that further challenged his skills as a player and singer, especially in the second half of his life. More jazz, less pop.
