I got back with my ex eventually because we did love each other. After a year break we got back together. It’s been 20 years and we have a beautiful baby together. A super happy and loving family. I don’t know if I would’ve understood and appreciated it as much if I didn’t date around when we were apart for a year. Dating around made me realize how much I loved my first love that I met at 14. And now he’s mine forever ❤
