I was like 7-8 years old when this came out, and it was always on NYC radio stations for over a decade afterward (im from nearby Paterson NJ)... now as a 40 yr old I been re integrating freestyle sound in my life because obviously I understand it way more growing up... This song is just as hot as ever. His great music ages so well. Sounds new every year and every decade since it was released. The sad part is that it's sounds newer and better than most of the music from this era that sounds and blander than the music did in the past. The music nowadays has no rhythm and has no soul. The new music of today sounds older than this song and the music artists of today need to try harder to sound newer and fresher. They could learn a lot from the great music master Stevie B.
