Such a lovely song but so sad. Totally works as a 90s ballad

I don't know why Stevie only kept two of the songs featuring Kenny G, they're the best ones in my opinion. I think he really completed the sound of TOSOTM.

Do you have any idea who it’s written about?

@@davidzilldz I'm not sure, Stevie has never commented on the song and I've not heard anything about what or who it's written about. However the title and some lyrics lead me to believe it's about either Joe Walsh or perhaps even Lindsey Buckingham.

@@SamuelOrru didn’t she have a brief affair with Rupert Hine?

I really do like this song. I just prefer the longer versions with more of Kenny G. playing and more Stevie. I also feel like these backing vocals sound so "studio generated". Always been weird to me.

I actually really like the different background vocals here and the on “Real Tears.” I feel it gives it a more modern sound. In my opinion.

I completely agree. I love the longer version too! She sounds a little Klonopined out on that version, but for some reason her vocal has a smoother flow. I think it's probably an earlier take and she was loosely following her big lyric sheet. Just my two cents worth.

This song is so depressing to me. I can’t believe this is the same Stevie that wrote dreams. This song is so dull, uninspired & clunky. It sounds like the depression you get from being strung out on downers. I can see why this was unreleased. It seems like Stevie tried a few different approaches/Melodie’s with this instrumental but none of them really went
