Message to Stevie: As someone born 1962, I grew up listening to you as a teenage along with many friends. Love your voce with Fleetwood Mac as well as your solo albums. Great memories. One of my friends whom I grew up with loved your singing very much. as well So much to the point that he named his daughter Stevie. Sadly he passed away in 2016 at age 53 from throat cancer. The same hour he passed, his first grand-daughter was being born. At his funeral, there was Fleetwood Mac / Stevie's voice playing. What a ribute

I'm a Classical pianist. I can tell you something about the key of G major. I see it as truquoise blue, and it is very smooth. So music in G always as a feeling of flowing to it. That may explain the epic feel you were mentioning. I think Stevie Nicks was very in tune with the emotions. She was really connected to the music. I play only instrumental music, so I kind of don't think about the lyrics much. Or at least it's not the first thing I think of. OMG I wasn't expecting to stumble onto this. When was this released, 1982? I am not exaggerating when I say that, when I heard the first passage of this for the first time in over 30 YEARS, it was overwhelming to me emotionally. A tear started welling up in my eye, the bittersweet memory and nostalgia transporting me right back to a space in time, of some super heavy things I had to experience right around the time this fantastic, compelling song first hit the airwaves in Central NY. It involved my first love, a woman 10 years older than me, a lot of bad shit I can never discuss with anyone, not even in the anonymity of cyberspace, and an end for her (us) that was beyond anything I ever knew as "tragic" up till that point in my life. This song instantaneously catapulted my mind and my heart right back to that day, in 100% Technicolor reality. Isn't music WONDERFUL!
