I'm tired, I'm hungry, and I'm wild eyed in this mystery. You left over 30+ years of breadcrumbs to follow back to you, and it's not fair that this should be rushed, but now is not the time to be humble. I don't know how many times, how many people called you crazy for believing in something more than what we can see. You've always known you were magical, and i want to show you just how bright you can shine.

I had the blessing of been born in ‘62 with The Beatles and a couple of teen-aged uncles, into a musical family..so I lived the ‘60’s, the ‘70’s, the ‘80’s and even the early ‘90’s as a young person whose life, like it was for all of us, revolved around a plethora of incredible talent and genres. I don’t think you’d find a person from my age group who won’t tell you we know we were blessed and very lucky. Rumours was the first album I ever bought, saved up for it from my summer holiday babysitting jobs ( it was summer in Australia when it was released, Christmas/summer holiday time)

Signed, A Forever Spellbound Fan.

One of my favorite Stevie Nick's songs she didn't write. After this vocal performance who would dare cover it. Very emotional performer, she reaches empathic perfection on this track. Hauntingly beautiful woman. Prolific writer, and a rock n roll legend. I was a big Mac Fan as a kid as singles from the White album began charting when I was 10 years old. I turned 21 the year she released this song and could not get enough of it. Now? I love it still. I wonder if you have a soul if you aren't moved by the soulful vocal she layed down on this track, matching the lyrics with soulful perfection and beyond. Love Stevie, love the whole big bad Mac.

Gruesse an Yola....

Heard a lot of her songs & really enjoy her unusual voice, but really don't remember actually seeing her perform (on stage or in a video like this) & I'm honestly pleasantly surprised by how expressive she is with her eyes, facial expressions, & non-verbals in general. A real treat

You always know that a song is special when it crosses a time barrier, a cultural barrier, and a generation barrier. This is one of those songs that stand OUT of time. You can't put it in any particular era. I heard it when it first came out and loved it. You heard it a few weeks ago and loved it. We have been brought together by this one song.

@@jrkennedy4891 I agree with you... G-d blessed her deeply and richly.. Can't find talent, skill, intelligence, beauty, charm, sophistication like Stevie Nicks! I grew up in the 70's.. Lot of Epic Performers came and went, Stevie Nicks survives.. There IS hope for those that seek it... Her songs, from my understanding, teach to stay true to your woman, respect her, don't betray her trust. Besides... True Fools, betray the woman that puts up with them... I've slept alone for years... Trying to figure that out... G-d hasn't blessed me financially to be responsible and accountable for marriage and parenting.. I do my homework, and I know the score.. Stevie Nicks... IS THE ONLY GODDESS of the 80's Rock Era! :)

This song is so Stevie, she really seems like the kind of person you could pour your heart out to and she wouldn’t judge, just keep your secrets and be kind. It’s funny to think she struggled with this song and couldn’t connect to it at first, because I couldn’t believe this song’s words coming from anyone other than Stevie.

Lyrics I can see we're thinkin' 'bout the same things Yes, I see your expression when the phone rings We both know there's something happening here There's no sense in dancing 'round the subject A wound gets worse when it's treated with neglect Well, don't turn now there's nothing here to fear You can talk to me Talk to me You can talk to me You can set your secrets free, baby Dusty words lying under carpets Seldom heard well, must you keep your secrets Locked inside, hidden deep from view Do I seem all that hard, is it all that tough? Well, I've searched through all my cards, well, isn't that enough? You can hide your hurt but there's something you can do You can talk to me You can talk to me When you're down now You can talk to me T-T-Talk to me Though we lay face to face and cheek to cheek Our voices stray from common ground where they could meet The walls run high to veil a swelling tear (tear, tear, tear) Let the walls burn down, set your secret free You can break their bounds 'cause you're safe with me You can lose your doubt 'cause you'll find no danger here You can talk to me Talk to me When you're down now You can talk to me You can set your secrets free, baby Well, I can see that expression when the phone rings And I can see that we're thinkin' 'bout the same things Is it all that hard, is it all that tough? Well, now you've taken all my dreams, isn't that enough? Well, I can see you, baby (I can see you, baby) Well, I can see you, baby (I can see you) Talk to me, yeah Well, I can see that expression when the phone rings
