I love Stevie Nicks💜 Her music she writes, you can feel her pain she's been through. It comes from her heart, which has been broken and you can feel it when she sings. Cudos to you Stevie you came through everything out on top. Still singing still beautiful.. You go girl‼️👍💜

Lucrese1: Stevie wrote Rhiannon on piano, check out her Rhiannon demo, Stevie's playing piano, Lindsey's guitar chords were written by Stevie Nicks on piano. Another great demo is "Leather and Lace" featuring Stevie playing guitar. Stevie Nicks is so talented, and a true class act, female musicians today "pale in her shadow".

ps: I love these old pictures...I watched an old concert from FM (1975), very good!!! Buckigham's interpreting some old songs from Peter Green, Stevie's singing (probably one of the first times) "rhiannon"!!That's what I love too about this band, they're really, really good in concert!!! Thanks for sharing!

I also love her songs and her playing! I really think Christine mcVie never had the succes she deserved to have! For exemple, songs like "brown eyes", "you'll never make me cry", all the songs she wrote for "Tusk" are magical, so beautiful, soft...I have her last solo album "in the meantime", it's a wonderful album! And I sometimes wonder:"would someone else than Christine wrote the music on the piano for songs like "gypsy" or "rhiannon", would these songs be even good as they are?!?

Don't forget Songbird to. Just a classic BEAUTIFUL ballad that Christie nailed. Love that tune, gives me chills EVERY time I hear it. Not sure you could have two females in a band any MORE talented than Lindsey and Stevie. It seems like they got along OK 🤔

Spacecatsonmars. I hate ppl that don't know good music when they here it or when they talk shit about bands they know nothing about. Stevie's music has stood the test of time. She's been my idol since I was 5. I meet her last year- a defining moment in my life. Here's a little fact to throw into haters faces. 1. Every FM song tbat has been re-made has been one of stevie's songs. 2. Despite her solo success, she has remained loyal to FM. That speaks volunes of her character and dedication to her career. And it's why she has had such a long successful career and the best fans in the world.

ps: Stevie Nicks said herself (this is a quote): "They always had the ability to take my songs and make them into something great". And "THEY" are the other members of fleetwood mac....Like I said, these 5 people made splendid music together, and I think lots of people know that! And Stevie's solo carreer is also brillant, she did a wonderful job and always chose good musicians like Pete Frampton, Sheryl Crow, Lindsey Buckigham, Tom Petty etc...Anyway, I wish you a good night...

Peter Green is FOR SURE one of the greatest blues player EVER!!!! Even BB King once said Peter Green was the only guitar player who ever made the hair on the back of his neck stand up. Unfortunately, he became sick and had a sad mental ilness: schizofrenia! I'm an educator, I work with children and grown up people who suffer from this ilness, it's very hard and they never recover...But if you really want to know: he was the lead singer-guitarist in fleetwood mac from 1966 to 1971

Oh, I see you have a lot of conversation!!! And I won't "shut the hell up" because someone tells me to!!!! Anyway, we both like Stevie Nicks, she has lots of talent, she can play with words, I think she's a great poet (not like everyone) and she hates when people fight like children to know if she's better or not than Christine McVie!!!! I really don't understand why you're so angry because I'm telling that I love all members of fleetwood mac, they met at the right time, at the right place!

She was ONE OF THE LEAD SINGERS OF FLEETWOOD MAC, IF NOT FOR CHRISTINE MCVIE STEVIE NICKS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A MEMBER OF FLEETWOOD MAC AT ALL. CHRISTINE MCVIE GAVE THE DECIDING VOTE TO LET STEVIE NICKS IN. THEY ONLY WANTED LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM. CHRISTINE MCVIE WAS ALREADY THEIR LEAD VOCALIST.

Anyway, I think that B.B.King, one of the greatest bluesman, knows better than you OR me if Peter Green (also called "the greengod" by people like Eric Clapton...) a living legend in the music history is or not, and he says he is, so...:)!!!Ok, I just come back from work, I'm going to watch a good FM dvd with Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, L.B., Mick Fleetwood and John McVie!!

...than a solo career with hits like "give me back my freedom" in the eightees; than, untill 2005, he was the lead singer/guitarist of the splinter group ( a blues band). Not bad for someone who's 67 and has an ilness that can't be cure!!!!Ps: do you even know the difference between "famous" and "talented"???I don't think so!!!because, I you think that only famous people talented are, then you'll say that Lady Gaga better is thant Stevie Nicks?!She may be famous but to me, Stevie Nicks's better!

You seriously need to look up the history of Fleetwood Mac to make that statement. They were well accomplished before Stevie Nicks arrived on the scene. She had an affair with Mick Fleetwood and lindsey Buckingham which caused the band to break up. Yes she has a voice like an angel and she is gorgeous and mystical but she pretty much broke up the band as well. I am a fan but the truth is the truth.
@amyklemley
@amyklemley 8 жыл бұрын
If you were a fan you would know the facts. She and Buckingham were a couple--not an affair--for five years. They split in 1976, before Rumours. She and Fleetwood had an affair for three months in 1977; Fleetwood ended it by falling in love with and later marrying her friend Sara. It wasn't until TEN YEARS LATER that Buckingham and the rest of them stayed together for one more album before she herself left. Her relationships with those men were not the cause.
