My 1st concert - I was 11, my brother Monte was 15, our friend Randy was 18 - He drove - Saturday November 29,1969 we saw Santana as the opening act for CSN&Y at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix - We paid $3.50 for the nosebleed seats but we walked down and leaned against the stage - August of 1969 those 2 bands were at Woodstock - Joni Mitchell wrote the song Woodstock but she did not attend the festival - She had a commitment to be on the Dick Cavett show the following day after the festival and she was afraid she would get stuck in traffic and I have seen Fleetwood mac twice in concert

I know this is an audience recording. Probably an iPhone or something similar. But I see a lot of people ragging about Mike Campbell in the band. And of all the music I have heard live with Mike and Neil Finn, its not Mike causing any problems. It sounds to me like Stevie. She sounds terrible. Maybe they should have let Christine sing more. Like I said, these are audience recordings from a phone. So I might be hearing something different than being there live. Yup, Stevie sounds terrible on this and other videos. Oh and Finn... Lindsey always had another guitarist. I forget his name. But he played left handed and the were always trying to hide him. I don't see where Finn is needed here. Especially with the third guitarist behind them. He is probably just a name to attract people that were upset at Lindsey getting the boot.
@DDowson2845 жыл бұрын
Worth the admission fee for this version in itself. Wouldn’t work in F.Mac if done by any male except P. Green. Stevie just nails it as dose Mike Neil, and off course, the best bass player John McVie and let’s not forget Mick and Chris.

Although I do not fault the band at all for kicking Buckingham out (not sorry) I still wasn't sure I could enjoy it without him being there. Also, and more importantly, I hadn't worked in a while, but the same day of the show I was offered a new job and took that as an omen. Plus in the 4 prior times seeing the band I had only for the Christine McVie experience once before. I got seats on the floor last minute and raced down there and if for nothing else THIS SONG PERFORMANCE was worth the high ticket price. I enjoyed the entire show and didn't think about Buckingham at all while there except when they performed "Go Your Own Way". They could have left that one off.
