Such a honey at 43. I think she was on klonipin at this time, which bunged the weight on her . Just starting to get her unique voice back
@NickMichalak3 жыл бұрын
She definitely looks more fit here than she did in 1989. Just look up some performances from then. She gained quite a bit of weight, but seems to have shed it here.
@DraperStan23 Жыл бұрын
@@NickMichalakafter the media decided to be a bitch about her weight, she vowed never to go back on stage till she lost 30 pounds. She lost the weight, but it is sad to think that her weight defined her talent for some reason. Makes me wonder how Ann Wilson was treated due to her weight struggles.
@NickMichalak Жыл бұрын
@@DraperStan23 I very much empathize. I recently dropped 100lbs due to health issues, and when I look back at myself at 330lbs, I feel I need to apologize for looking that way. However, women get criticized so much for their looks (Ann Wilson struggled a lot despite the fact that I think she's always looked great, regardless), and I think Stevie has done a lot of work to maintain her iconic appearance over the years since getting clean. She seems more at peace and comfortable with herself over the last 25+ years.
@Cicilo1983 Жыл бұрын
@@DraperStan23 I recommend that you read Ann and Nancy Wilson's autobiography, which was published in 2013. It deals with this issue (among other things).

Buon Compleanno, Stevie! 8.1.22 Marina Assanti Sulle note di She Loves Him Still Stevie Nicks (Mark Knopfer)

She has a studio voice her songs are going to be hard to sound like studio version because of her over dubs & lyric runs so have respect for her for singing live & not lip syncing she refuses to do that no one can match her studio voice singers have tried to sing most of her songs but fall flat the Chick's did Landslide & the. Smashing Pumkins it wasn't hard to do like her other songs.
