Yes Austin City Limits from 1983. It is a TV studio and the backdrop is the city skyline which kind of makes it feels like outside. He also appeared here in 1989 in all his sober and healthy self🎸🎶‼️

@@harrietmiller3982 From what I understand, he was amazing before and when he became sober his style was a bit more somber

@@AceofBadeReacts he became even more amazing than ever. He was nervous about playing after his rehab and recovery and didn't know how he would perform but he was better, cleaner, and stronger than ever before. There was no touching him. He spent the last four years of his life helping and encouraging others to get sober and healthy and still inspires people to this day with his example.

@@AceofBadeReacts most of us agree he was untouchable after rehab and recovery. He was nervous at first to perform totally sober and clean not knowing if he had lost something. Everything you can watch from him after the fall of 1986 would also disagree with that. How it was possible to get even better and stronger than he already was but it is true. Search for dates in the sober timeframe and decide for yourself. He spent the last 4 years of his life encouraging and helping people walk the path to heath and happiness in sobriety. His story still inspires people even today.
