Outstanding brother. What guitar are you playing? Is it an SRV signature strat with a different pickguard, or something more special than that?

Hello Rich624. It’s a 1989 American Standard Strat with Van Zant Vintage plus pick ups. I found the pickguard on EBay earlier this year. I also had a left handed tremolo put in with graphite string saddles as I used to break “D” strains nightly. Oh! And I believe Steele 6100 gauge frets as well. All of this work with the exception of the pick guard I had done in Seattle back in the late 90’s. I hope this helps and thank you for checking it out. I have a more recent promo video up as well. It also shows a replica of SRV’s #1 Strat. I had it loaded with the same pickups and frets a few months ago. It’s just a modified modern Squire but it plays great now!

He is my fellow garage band musician and we love this music. When you come to Lakeland/Tampa/Orlando, we are there. You got the rakes down bro.

@@stevierayvisited2758 I have three 1992 SRV signature strats. One of them is Brazilian rosewood fretboard. The Brazilian definitely has some special MOJO. It sounds awesome, but they look exactly like what you are playing, without the plain black pickguard (of course they have the SRV on the pickguards). I told my buddy about you and we are definitely going to see you live when we can.
