After many years of not playing piano (I had lessons when I was a kid), I'm using this video to retrain myself in getting comfortable with playing. This song is a challenge, but it is forcing me to take leaps and bounds...which I love. Thanks so much for taking the time to put this great video (and all your others) together!

Thanks so much for making this video! I'm not a piano player- but your video is helping me get there. The way you break it down is perfect for me.

Mhhm, mhm, yeah Everybody's got a thing But some don't know how to handle it Always reachin' out in vain Just takin' the things not worth having But don't you worry 'bout a thing Don't you worry 'bout a thing, mama 'Cause I'll be standin' on the side When you check it out, oh They say your style of life's a drag And that you must go other places Just don't you feel too bad When you get fooled by smiling faces Don't you worry 'bout a thing Don't you worry 'bout a thing, baby 'Cause I'll be standing on the side When you check it out When you get off your trip Don't you worry 'bout a thing Don't you worry 'bout a thing Come on Everybody needs a change A chance to check out the new, yeah You're the only one to sees The changes you take yourself through Oh, oh-oh,…

Thanks, and I agree. I still have a long way to go when it comes to music theory.

Thanks for showing us all one of my favorite songs. I will certainly use your tutorial to learn this tune. The only suggestion i would have is to avoid enharmonic spellings of notes and chords i.e. B Eb Gb --- that is just a misspelled B major chord, or a misspelled Cb major chord . In key of Eb the C# should be called a Db. It helps all the relationships of the composition come into focus when each note and chord is referred to in a way that is consistent with the key signature. Cheers.

Nice. But it's not what is played on the actual track. The opening line alone should be an octave down with a very different bass and accompaniment line. Things like on the and-of-one in the second measure. From your avatar I assume you're a guitarist - so I'll give you some credit here!
