I’ve been playing guitar over 40 years. I’ve retired and started playing keys and really enjoying it. Your lessons are very helpful and definitive. Thank you for this lesson of a great timeless piece of music.

You made my day!!! So many memories of this song growing up in the 1970s. Stevie kept me sane growing up. This song has such a happy feeling!!! Also, thank you for doing "Sadie". Lost my mom last year and i found solace in learning to play it. You're using your GOD-given gift to touch others... continued blessings to you my friend!!!

Great cover/lesson. Another wild track to listen to is Billy Preston’s “Nothing For Nothing”. The piano solo is awesome.

Great tutorial. By the way, whenever Stevie was on tour/in concert, Greg Phillinganes always played this piano part. Just giving props.

👍Well done on a classic tune! I actually thought Stevie knew some Spanish when I first heard that song but I wasn't sure, so I had a Spanish speaker listen to the intro of the song & he laughed before telling me that Stevie wasn't speaking Spanish at all. LOL😂

I can't find F#M scale. Possibly GbM, but that 4th degree reminds Me of some minor scale. Anyone saavy?

Great tuto, thanks a lot, had a lot of fun playing it (on guitar though) Just a couple of remarks: 6:28 it’s Gb major indeed (I think with a 9 btw) but then you say Gb dominant but personally I don’t hear the 3rd so it’s a weird chord I think with Gb fifth 7 minor and a 9 (kind of D minor) 6:50 I don’t think it’s a Bb 7, it’s actually a Bb minor 7 so just the 3rd degree of the Gb major 7:13 I think it’s a Ab major 7, which btw is super weird but at the same time amazing as this should be the second degree so A minor 7 minor to finish on the 2-5-1, but he is putting A major 7 major. I’m pretty sure there is a funky harmonic explanation but I don’t know it
