Cool video @Kerry2Smooth. You always drop some good knowledge. Thank you for always sharing your gifts and talents Brother. To answer your question, I tend to go back to songs like Bill Withers Ain’t No Sunshine, Use Me, James Brown Sex Machine, MJ Human Nature, Alicia Keys If I AIn’t Got You, Andre3000 Prototype, Gnarls Barkley Crazy, Stevie Wonder Superstition.

Would love to learn Craig David’s Fill Me In or 7 Days for beginners. As a guitarist his music is one of the reasons I became interested in acoustic music.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Best lesson I have seen from you. I have seen your lessons before and I was like....MEH!! Bruh, you have a wide open R&B lane. Please take advantage of this opportunity. KZbin opened up your lesson on D'Angelo. Another good lesson. Wait, wait wait. Out of your mouth you nailed it!!! Sometimes your lessons are about your chops and it's not about the lesson. I would like to suggest that you break down the song and maybe do a lesson, another video entirely, with your impressive chops on the song. Lastly, thank you for the lessons and the improvements that I have noticed. Good luck!!

Just discovered your videos today, really enjoying them. As a beginner-ish, I love this level of video. I was trying to find where you explain how you know which strings to pluck in a chord, when you're doing the pluck and pat? As a beginner it something I don't understand yet. Thanks
@Kerry2smooth4 жыл бұрын
Louis Luckwell hey welcome to my channel. I have videos explaining that very thing. But I mainly do all I teaching for beginners and up on kerryskamp.com

Great arrangement. One weird side note. That riff and chord progression sounds a lot like interstate love song by stone temple pilots. I'd never put those two songs together before. Again I enjoyed the video

Hey man I'm mostly a metal player myself but I like your playing and expanations. I'd just like to suggest that you perhaps just play what you're about to teach at proper speed at the beginning so that people might get a better idea of what they're in for.

Hey Kerry I've been working on Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. Really simple but adding embellishments really bring the tune to life. Check it out
