I don’t believe that. Many may sell their collections. Some will not. Some have plans to do other things with them. I’m a completionist collector and have no plans to sell my stuff. I also know others who are trying to put their complete sets somewhere for people to enjoy.

I believe the best policy of any, is to shrink a collection to the key titles that mean the most to you. I don’t like set collecting or buying games for the sake of adding numbers to the total games collected.

People will have to be really gullible to believe him when he makes statements about the ambitions of his personal collection at this point. He already did this once with his Gamecube collection and some of the games in his Mission Switch list don't seem like games that he would play. When he came into your Discord and was answering questions, I asked him what his favorite RPG was. He told me he wasn't that much of an RPG guy and his favorite RPG was Kingdom Hearts. I took this to mean that he was only a casual player of RPGs, yet he had a game like Octopath Traveler on his Mission Switch list. While that is a great game, it is also difficult and has a complex combat system that wouldn't be a good fit for casual players of RPGs. So he is either very ignorant about what kind of game it is, or he is only interested in the monetary value of it. Given his history, I'm inclined to think the latter.

I can go out on a whim and say that is definitely the case. He probably looked at a top 150 list or a rare list of Switch games and nitpicked out a hundred for his series. If he really cared about the games at all, he wouldn’t have substituted the games to begin with. And he wouldn’t have taken two years to finish it.

If I would do Mission Switch to keep, not to resell, and not to brag about online. I wouldn't even call it mission Switch. I would just call it games I want in my Switch collection and keep it casual. I'm sticking with the classics like Zelda, Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Kirby, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Crash, Spyro, etc. Not drone out to conventions to drain stuff that is rare that most people wouldn't want. I'd rather go to Walmart and Target to finish my switch list since the Switch is still on the market. I also wouldn't have put videos online to rub it in people's faces. I would rather be an average Joe and buy all of the bangers and not all of the games that people like Phoenix Resale say are good games when they aren't. Luckily resellers don't gatekeep all the bangers. I'm collecting games for SNES and there are three grails that I want in my collection currently. Mega Man X3, Mega Man 7, and Kirby Dreamland 3. Look on my channel I'm not a reseller channel. I just record Gameplay just for fun.

Thats not how prices go up steve, you should know this by now. Its supply and demand and also if you have more people buying an item to resell that means the prices would go down as theres more of that item available on the market and they cut each others prices to sell their product due to the competition.
