The end of their videos is all about buying stuff for pennies or dollars and selling for 100’s . Their bragging is disgusting. I resell and I'm one of those few people that absolutely hates haggling (I'm super nonconfrontational), so I just pay asking price on everything, but only if it's worth it. I don't source from garage sales but if I did I would either pay asking or move on if the price wasn't worth it for me. I'd feel super bad if I thought I was ripping someone off, especially older people. I know I would feel bad if someone tried to rip my grandma off.

I used to resell stuff here and there to fund my own hobby, but never to this extent and even if I did, I would feel sick to my stomach buying something for 50 cents and selling it for 1,000 dollars and not offering at least half of it back to the person I bought it from. I am also not a religious guy at all, but I appreciate Steve calling out this greedy bullshit as a Christian. Jesus required people give up their wealth and worldly possessions to follow him, but some how these greedy ass resellers who claim to be God fearing people seem to forget that Jesus essentially told those with wealth to give it away to help people in need.

As a reseller I would definitely agree with you here. I recently bought some band t shirts and the dude had them at $1 I obviously knew they was worth more so I paid him $25 for all 5 of the shirts I found. If I was making big bucks on KZbin I would have easily paid him more. But this dude is definitely a scum bag. A reseller who has a big following and does right by people is froggy flips. Cut the conniving middlemen out entirely, have loveable women facetime around their house showing possessions for sale, interacting, until someone comments, "yo, that is BLANK," and then stop, everyone bids a fair or more than fair price on the item. I've been collecting video games since high school year in 2012 and these resellers had destroyed our hobby and passion. I may do bargaining of getting offers and keeping it reasonable price by knocking $5 off from the original asked price. Collector's values is a virtue within the collector's mindset. Keep exposing them Steve. Hate seeing resellers causing our collector's being targeted as money. Edit: They're the reason why I buy broken game consoles and fix em up for myself to keep as display on the shelf. Or mod my retro game consoles that looked heavily beat up.

I would say if he didn’t know what they were worth then that’s just good luck (I missed that bit). I would personally always overlook old books like that, as did the sellers obviously. I always just pay what they are asking, especially if it’s a big come up and especially if it’s that cheap. If it’s worth buying at $20 I don’t think $25 is a stretch. Check out Codywithak’s latest video, he was doing the thing he does were he messages people asking if they have video games “collecting dust” that they want to get rid of, a dude responds and sends him a picture of a bundle of ps2 games including silent hill 2, he knew that goes for around $150 alone, also had vice city stories which he knew went for around $75 and he offers him TWENTY FIVE Dollars 🤣 the more I watch his videos the more I realise he’s no different to these other resellers just a lot more entertaining and better at editing 😂

Something about this guy really makes me dislike him, dunno if its his looks or how he speaks or what. I gotta have a garage sale soon and pricing all my games, legos, comics, etc at a great price where someone will still be able to make $$ on but im not taking any less than what im asking for. If any resellers get pushy or mouthy, plus i know the majority of them in my town, im just gonna tell them nah whatever dosnt sell my daughter is gonna sell on ebay.
