@@Jakal_205 in other words most people don't know what a real musician is. My father is in the blues hall of fame. He played with James brown, ray Charles,Lonnie Mack, the funk brothers and many others. They were musicians. My dad could read music so he could play any song ever written. He sang too. Sold out radio city music hall. So I've seen real musicians, that have mastered instruments. That's what a real musician is. So what are you talking about? It is very impressive but I really doubt it was one or two takes. Just the lighting coordination itself seems like it would’ve taken many takes to get right. Also I don’t know where you read it was a live recording but after listening to it I don’t think it is man. Yeah the guitar gets a little out of tune in the end but I wouldn’t be surprised if he had some melodyne on his voice. Also with the panning shots you can see there’s no mic anywhere near him. I think this is just a music video man.

It's very deep and has been seen by more people than any other track, because it speaks to the internal dialogue inside all of us, allbeit not so extreme in most of us. first time I heard this I was blown away, I had just finished a recording session, was by myself reflecting in the dark listening to a youtubemusic radio solo acoustic station, this song popped up, 7 views, halfway thru I had never felt so called out as I did right then. Since that time I have dove head first down the rabbit hole to understand the world that is Ren. I particularly found that I very much enjoyed watching others react to this piece of geniuses. I am not sure how I didn't run across your reaction sooner. I absolutely give you the highest of marks, you actually listened to the whole song, bringing it back to see if what you thought you heard was actually what you heard (same exact spot I had to rewind first time) without stopping to talk about it repeatedly during your first listen. This song (I feel) must be listened to in its entirety the first time hearing to actually be able to give a genuine reaction. I guess that this is the long winded version of saying I much appreciated your reaction. Top notch!!! Whom ever does the post production on your content knocked this out of the park as well. I truly enjoyed your reaction and comments. I only recently learned about Ren and have gone down this rabbit hole ever since. I can personally relate to many of his songs, and they deeply touch me. Ren is an incredible and unique artist; he plays multiple instruments and has great vocal ability. I recommend you check out some of his other work. The trilogy "The Tale of Jenny," "Screech," and "Violet" is haunting; watch them in the stated order, as this is the flow of the storyline. His song "Money Game" (Part I & II) is another recommendation. If you like his personal reflections, they are threaded through many of his songs; "Insomnia," "Depression," “Diazepam," “Penitence,” “Dear God,” “Heretic,” “Dominos,” his "Freckled Angels" album, just to name a few, all deserve a listen. Ren performs a range of genres, but mostly hip-hop or guitar-based ballads, as a solo act. His collaborations with Sam Tompkins, Chinchilla, and his performances as a member of the band "The Big Push" (which unfortunately broke up) are awesome and well worth checking out. Ren has impressive vocal and instrumental skills. He is one-of-a-kind.

I love music, but I’ve never experienced anything like that….the talent and creativity mixed with the execution is astounding. Idc what you listen to or who you are, real recognizes real, and that was some of the realist shit I’ve ever heard/seen. I’m in ur corner bro, you can do great things. You already did with that video. My favorite part about music, or any art for that matter, is how you can take pain and turn it into something beautiful. And it seems that the more painful it is, the more beautiful the outcome can be. Just like life. God bless and congratulations for being so strong to fight the battle, but to me, you are winning.

This is art of transcendent beauty and an *important* song. Artists often struggle with imposter syndrome. There’s a movie starring Olivia Munn called “Violet” that rings of this and was a transformative experience for me… just as this song also resonates. As a person who’s never been able to escape imposter syndrome and negative self-talk, *realizing* that I can exert the strength that destructive voice questions-strength that I *know* I have-was sooo important. It takes time to push past the negativity-to make your own voice stronger, but if anyone out there is struggling with this, please please please *know* that you can do it. *Know* that I believe in you… but you don’t need me to-just like you don’t need the shroud of doubt that feels first of protection and then as a prison. You are *stronger* than that voice. You are stronger than you can *possibly* know… until you push back with softness or aggression-your choice.

WOW now that’s genius, I was blown away by this performance. I can understand his torment now that I understand his health conditions also I picked up on so many different types of music in his guitar playing with little flints Spanish/Mexican and Arabian and Chinese influence in his guitar music and obviously western style. There probably more I’ll have to listen to his instrumental part again at the beginning because I was so focused on his lyrics. Stay strong brother, I think your life is about to change for the better after this amazing performance. God Bless you 🇬🇧

What a genuine and honest response. I’m hooked on watching others like yourself react to REN’s music. This song gets me every time I watch it and at the same spot right after he stands up. The line about the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose of the rope is so powerful. Have you reacted to The Tale of Jenny and Screech and his cover of Marley’s I shot the Sheriff? It’s incredible!

Ren is so incredible and you have a lot of depth yourself. Cool to see intelligent reviews of artists like this. Thanks!

This here is why I enjoy react channels, as much fun I get at watching people discover some of my old favourites, every once in a while they help me discover new ones. This kid has real talent and I hope he can handle the fame he is about to experience.

Let’s take a sec and acknowledge the growth of Stevie too. Because a few years ago I don’t think this would have been Stevie’s lane. And yet this was a jam for him this time. Hella growth!
