Aharon Shube i agree but MGK started it so it ended up just being “how many rounds you want to go” Rap devil was nice but it didn’t touch not alike or kill shot that’s why MGK stopped
@TheAshube94 жыл бұрын
@@hotcheeto8814 the fact MGK started it is highly debatable, but regardless, it was retty petty. MGK knows damn well he can't touch Em, but not replying would have looked really bad. Plus all publicity is good for sales. Why did he stop? One possibility is that killshot relly got him shook, it realy killed his spirit. Second possibility, which is the one I'm inclined to believe, is that he's still a huge fan of Eminem and he's heartbroken. Besides the one-time need for showing that hes no punk that will just take being shitted on, the whole idea of dissing his childhood idol probably makes him feel unconfortable and sad, which overcomes his pride. He's probably always dreamt about hanging out and collabing rather than feuding with him. Nobody's buying that "taking the high road" attitude after "winning" he's trying to play. Any other rapper he would still be throwing jabs at in his music here and there
@hotcheeto88144 жыл бұрын
@@TheAshube9 I agree to an extent. If someone says they are being bullied we can't tell them that they are not being bullied. If they feel that they are, then they are. It doesn't really matter if it was because of the tweet about Haley or if he just didn't vibe with MGK's work. For whatever reason Emimen didn't like MGK and chose not to give him access to sway and that set off MGK. But at the end of the day Eminem doesn't have to let anyone on Sway if he doesn't want to.

That whole jar memories scheme was insane. Jarred means three things here: 1st. He’s telling you that you need your memories jogged (jarred) to remember what happens to people when you come at him. 2nd. IF MGK had Ja’s memories - which were emotionally scarred (jarred) after losing to Em, then MGK wouldn’t be coming at Em. 3rd. If you do come at Eminem, you’ll lose. Eminem will own you as if he put your brain in a jar, which is what you do to preserve brains in the jarring process but is also what you do with strawberry jelly.

When it comes to em, he just a straight monster with his pen. Like most singers you it becomes hard to separate their catalogs because they tend to sound the same, but with em he is always giving you something different whether it is a rhyme scheme or a switch in cadence, doubles and triples... it just goes on and on. I even think those corny beats made it so you really paid attention to what he said. Been listening to him since the day he came out and its amazing how far he has come from rock bottom ehhhh

I think I leave a comment every time I watch a video... Stevie, you are so fun to watch! I like watching you get frustrated and pissed off, I know my Em songs so can predict when you're about to lose it...and love it! Keep it up, for someone whose not familiar with Eminem's history you do a fantastic job breaking down bars! So glad us Eminem fans kept telling you... cover Em and your channel will grow!! The best part of it is you have years of music to cover and don't have to wait on new material. Keep it up, you are so good at this and I'm learning so much from you! Thank you Stevie😎

Best part of this song. "You already know who the F you ARE Kelly" emphasis on the ARE to sound like R. Kelly. MGK made comments on Em's daughter online in a pic when she was still underage

@@omirospavlou7607 Em is comparing Machine Gun Kelly to R. Kelly who has been exposed publicly for having sex with underage girls. Machine gun kelly started this whole conflict between them years ago when he tweeted about em's daughter being hot when she was still in highschool.

So happy you are going back to Kamikaze! I feel like with this song, MGK was done before he even released Rap Devil. Anyways, my take on the "Ja memories"piece is yes, Ja rule reference and how ppl say "you need your memories jarred" as in jarring them to help them remember and then he played on the word jarred by talking about jams/jellies that are preserved in jars.

"But Just in case you forgot really and need Ja memories jarred like strawberry or pineapple apricot jelly" He's saying if you need your memory jarred, like you need to remember something. Then he uses the the simile of jarring jellys like apricot etc. But it's also referring to Ja rule bringing up Hailes name. All that in one bar!

Whole jelly and jar scheme is incredible. It's a triple and a half. First the common phrase "Jar your memory, need your memories jarred" of how Em ruins careers + jelly like strawberry and apricot comes in jars + brains made of nothing but jelly. Also slight allusion to a Ja track, plus a direct reminder of specifically what happened to Ja Rule, from when Em and 50 AND Busta destroyed his career with the art of the diss. Yeah. Its bad ass. Yet most miss how in depth it actually is. Em is all about the layers which is one reason I LOVE his rap.

Just some background on Eminem’s verse; This was his actual 1st diss to MGK due to the fact MGK was trying to hit on Hailie(ems daughter) then MGK went on and sneaked diss Em on that song with Teck 9. After em dropped this, MGK was celebrating because he could drop “RapDevil” not knowing Eminem was sizing him up with the “Kill Shot”
@Tabernaster4 жыл бұрын
Nah bro, MGK broke out the sneak diss on the "No Reason" track with Tech before Kamikaze came out. Hence the reference that Eminem makes to it on "Not Alike." "No Reason" came out in March, 2018. Kamikaze dropped August, 2018.
