Thank you for the awesome note Andy! Unfortunately photos, film and models are as close as I can get to these amazing machines so I envy your experience. It's great that you're helping to preserve these machines so future generations can hopefully appreciate our shared history. All the best to you!

Hi Steve, glad you could drop by. She's quite the battle wagon and sadly the British weren't as creative in their camo as they were in their vehicle design. Still a pretty cool vehicle and certainly a test for the old shaky hands. All the best my friend and thanks again for the awesome comment!

The episode turned out a bit longer than I like but it gave us an opportunity to delve into the weathering techniques in some detail. Hopefully it gives people a starting point so they can tinker with the materials and put their own twist on it. Thanks for the great comment!

Hi Steven, thanks for the note! Right you are about a hiatus. Pretty busy with work and life issues and it sucks not being able to build. Hope to sneak in more time as Spring approaches. Otherwise all is okay, hope for you too!

Glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully there's something in there that you can use on your own next project. These early vehicles are an interesting study in the evolution of tank warfare and I can see building a WW1 heavy in the future. All the best to you! 🙂

Hey Scaley, thanks for the awesome comment! The WW1 vehicles aren't for everyone but us old timers who have built everything, including the kitchen sink, are always looking for new things to try. It's also interesting to see how these old vehicles were built and put into action. How far we've come, although it seems that our fighters are still shooting down the odd balloon, even nowadays. Thanks for stopping by and good luck on your own projects!

@@stevieRay3211 No that they are not, Iv had people ask my why dont I build something more modern, Im getting to that stage myself , I dont consider myself an old timer but Ive been at it for 20 years now! The old ones where more concepts everything was new nothing else to go on and i kinda enjoy seeing that. yeah ballons aside the new stuff more computer than anything. Thank you hope your projects turn out as you want them

And you thought the ride was rough in the Grizzly! Still, probably stood a better chance of floating in water than this steel bucket of bolts. Thanks Brian!
