Hey man, love the channel. Don't mean to have another Sum 41-related request, but I would love if you did a video a bit more on the writing process of the band. It's not like those songs just popped in out of thin air. Would love to know about how Deryck would demo tracks, how would you go in either beforehand or in the studio and work out the drum parts, and generally how songs came to be. In particular, I've always been very curious about Chuck as it seems like the first album that was really written in the studio for the band with lots of instrumentation and arrangements added later. Thanks Stevo!

32 is the standard musical time signature. It means 32 beats per 1 measure (I don't know what it's properly called in musical theory) There are usually 4,8,16,32 beats per measure in rock music. 32 is this fast paced beat you hear during drum breaks or drum solos.

I gave the 41 salute standing on top of chairs not yet destroyed by the chaotic crowd 🤣 (it could've been right after In Too Deep cuz KZbin shows footage of the performance as Deryck gives the 41 salute after looking in the crowd and I was impossible to miss 😂). I didn't have that since the red and blue kit - but when I bought this Ludwig kit it came with 12 & 13 racks so I figure why not! Took a sec getting used to the ride in that position ! it's fun having all the toms (I don't really use the 18" FT)

@@stevo32drums Awesome! Ride positioning seems to be the deciding factor when it comes to number of toms. I’ve been experimenting lately with putting the lowest floor tom to the left of the hi-hats. It makes for some unique fills. Cheers!
