0:08 Skopje is pronounced scop-yeh, J = Y. 1:50 That is not traditional Macedonian, but something turkish... While turkish cuisine heavly influenced the Balkans, including Macedonia, food you mentioned is not known for the majority of the macedonians. Lot of tourists from Turkey started coming to Skopje in the past 15 years, so they started (needlessly) offering turkish food never seen before in Skopje. Traditional macedonian breakfast is usually burek or simit pogacha, but also slice of bread with ajvar and white cheese. 7:42 the song is Jovano, Jovanke a traditional macedonian song and the kids are dancing the folk dance called oro. 10:30 the first buses in Skopje were like that. They were reintroduced in 2012, but they were made by Yutong factory, China specially for Skopje. If you haven't already, visit also Bitola, Ohrid and Strumica too.

At 3:00 around, you said "I don't know what is that", that is from Green small Figs, before they become with sugar on tree in them, cooked boiled with lot of sugar (sometimes other things put while cooking by taste, they are not as eating figs named, served as is 'fruit', those are kind plants which never become sweet fruit as other fig trees, but from same family plants, not fully domesticated), so those figs have good ingredients in, but before eating you need to 'wash' the sugar syrup, it is only for long lasting conservancy conservation ... with tens years to hundreds they able to sit in storage without rotting. It is as a sweet snack. If it is from Arabic or Turkish or Greece or Balkan Idk, people make it, ... The teas at 19:00, are from Malaysia , from 5,000 years ago. There is mountain in Malaysia which is with rainbow colors all (thousands years there) when you see it from distance, as preservation in case of apocalypse to vanish everything on planet. It is with all kinds on all planet you are able to find, and even more of it. There is other with spices, but I never saw that one (that is what they told me). So, original source is Malaysia, not Euro or Africa or Arabic. Take care.

Stop representing Macedonia from an Albanian restaurant or I don't know maybe is Turkish, you fool. I don't even know where you found it, maybe in some Albanian neighborhood, because it's not Macedonia. Yes, maybe they also have and serve Mediterranean food in their menu, but that's not Macedonia.

Nice to have you here in North Macedonia 0:00 You started the video exactly on the holy Mother Teresa (Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu - albanian catholic nobel prize winner) original house marked on the ground (visible at 0:20) which is living proof that no matter the assimilation of albanians from slavic aggressive government, albanian legacy is still very much alive. The hole center and the bridges around are a fake project called "SKOPJE 2014" whose purpose was to fake a european modern look of the center hiding the true poor corrup state and its poor hard working people and the true colors of this country, the project was funded by the corrupt macedonian politician Nikolla Gruevski which is in exile still today. 0:50 As it can be seen by crossing the bridge its like you enter a new world, the hole country is divided. But on the forgotten old part is where the truth is hidden, there is the illyrian era castle, usa embassy and much more.. 1:15 thats a turkish familys bussines, its very classical in every city where are albanians you can find turkish food from the ottoman era 4:54 thats an albanian family feeling the turkish vibe and working their culture, you can see the albanian white plis and the turkish red hat at 6:35 and hear them talking albanian 6:45 you can see this phenomenon everywhere, albanians working turkisht, italian or greek cuisine or coffe shops. As albanian we love and cherish other cultures too

The Albanian minority is 24% of the entire country and 19% of the city Skopje. The majority of Albanians in modern day Macedonia settled during the Ottoman period of the 18-19th centuries The Albanians from Skopje settled in the vicinity of the city and in the center of the town during the 1870s as refugees from the new kingdom of Serbia. All of these migrations are well recorded in the city archives by the Ottoman government you are certainly not natives of Skopje or Macedonia the, local macedonian population is the native population of Skopje. The fortress of the city of Skopje which you call Illyrian was actually established by Tsar Samuel. Tsar Samuel was from Ohrid a Macedonian Tsar . The stone Bridge was constructed by Tsar Dushan of Serbian a Serbian Tsar, during his reign Skopje was the capital city of the Serbian Empire. The city of Skopje was part the empire of Tsar Samuel (Macedonian sate), it was part of the Bulgarian empires of Tsar Simeon and Kaloyan, The Seriban Empire of Dusah, the Ottoman and Byzantine Empires. In all of the history of Skopje, it was never part of any Albanian Kingdom or state.
