I unfortunately share in your sadness Lisa. I was hooked into them in ‘82, saw my first of 24 shows back in ‘84. They definetly enriched my my existence. The purity of their music, their honesty and sincerity in how they approached every topic and song, is truly admirable. The world definetly needs more people like the Triumvirate , to inspire anew!

@@johnyrichaerd2368 technically? wtf
@kennycab33745 жыл бұрын
@@johnyrichaerd2368 I think your use of the word technically is pertaining to peoples opinions, and not the bands themselves. I love Rush, Pink Floyd, Zep, Purple, and Sabbath. I could not pick one over the other because to me, those are the 5 greatest rock bands, and its not even close for would be 6th. However, if your talking about technically, Rush is by far well above the other 4 and that is also not even close. Jimmy Page who is for sure in the top 5 greatest rock guitarists ever was well short of being technical. Some say he was pretty sloppy. Obviously Bohnam was not sloppy cause his technique was his own, and one of the greatest. My point is Rush, as a band was very technical, the rest were not, but I still love them all and I imagine a million miles into the future, people will still be listening to those 5 bands, they will never go away, they all just too good.

You did this song...no. This *artwork*, and did it justice. Rush, and definitely Neil Peart, were master craftsman and some of the greatest musicians to ever walk the Earth, hands-down. Everything about this cover was sublime. The creativity and the determination to learn *all* of the percussion/rhythm parts and patterns as oppose to strictly performing the drums was untouched in the KZbin Drummer community as far Professionalism and Expertise. Your playing as well, was extraordinary. No mistakes. Straight perfection, all 11 minutes. It is a crime that you only have a little over 6k subs. You should easily have over a million. But, alas, comedic value/high production cringe and not so much intrinsic talent, are what sells these days and rakes in the subscribers and views. That’s not to say people such as 66Samus or Jared Dines or Josh Steffen aren’t talented (they all are), but none of them have ever produced a video that matches the level of creativity and precise playing as this. Keep up the good work. You have *earned* a new Subscriber. From one Drummer to another, keep on pounding’ 😎
