it looks super good, i know what u mean by painting it and leaving the slots carbon bc that is cool too and looks more custom. You really can't go wrong either way but i think i'd leave it full carbon for a while before i painted it, looks sick af atm

This video just made my day, having the same sti model and color than mine, man that dark metallic grey🔥💪. I want the CF Seibon hood for mine but I didnt know how its going to look good with the car color until now, full CF doesnt look bad but I can tell you, I'd paint it color match and leave the vents in CF, it'll look a lot better for sure, thats exactly what I'll do on mine or get the APR CF vents like Smeedia did in his VA. I got few CF parts on my STi, like the Rexpeed CF mirrors, it will make a good contrast with the dark metallic grey.

Had a carbon hood on my DGM STI and felt the same way about it so I ended up just going back to an OEM hood

Honestly I don’t know there wasn’t one thing I did that worked I just kept adjusting the brackets
