It absolutely is a send, wouldn’t be a flash attempt regardless as he has climbed it multiple other times but if you climb to the top, it is by definition a send

“Mini dynos” = deadpointing “Mantle” = palm down and pressing, which never happens during this climb “Send” = Climbing from start to finish without falling…..

Lol that's like saying you sent a boulder by starting where you fell off. You finished the climb but didn't send. This will only add confusion to beginners.

I mean, that's great you're climbing with a rope, even top roping, I like it myself quite a bit, but unless you're climbing lead and you don't fall off, you can't call that send. Hopefully you've been able to send it by now, good job with it!

what is a 5.11+? Like, from what I know you add letters from a to d to the grade, where does it fall there? That's a short wall btw, never done any rope-climbing under 15m I think. I'd love some shorter, powerful climbs

A lot of gyms ditch the a-d rating and just have -/+ So you’ll go 5.8-,5.8,5.8+,5.9-, etc.

@@cedricrust9953 yeah usually - is a/b, straight is b/c and + is c/d I agree this is insanely short, I’ve seen a bouldering wall almost this height before. Also surprised it’s rated so high.

@@Qadow agreed. Id say this is an indoor 6a. Probably 5a outdoors. (I only say this because my gym has soft grades, and im in ireland where its national law to sand bag a route.🤣🤣 )

Your technique and hip placement improved a lot. Just one tip : maybe try climbing not only with your instinct vs but also with your old ones on climbs were the footholds are not particurarly small, this will make your instinct vs-es last longer. Have a great day fellow climber.

You must tie into the correct points. That loop is for carabiners only! I see you have the caribiner through the figure 8 but that is unnecessarily wearing down your belay loop.

I would encourage not having the rope so tight while climbing when you fall you should atleast drop 1-2 ft
