Dace on the Ribble fab, takes me back 45 years I was a member of the Criterion AC . My father used to take me , we left Liverpool early Sunday morning to fish the club stretch on a old coach about 30 anglers happy days indeed. The River didnt have Barbel then.

Stick float fishing and Dace - absolute heaven! - fond memories on the Tidal Lea at Hackney Marshes standing in the water in my waders with a bait apron on - good bags of Dace to 10oz. Fishing the stick is hard work - but one of the most enjoyable days float fishing you'll ever have! Great vid Danny - stay safe and tight lines mate.

best memories ever was dace fishing the dove at uttoxeter with my dad 30 years ago. 3 pts maggots and 3 hrs latter we caught 30lb and weighed /photoed may fish for l0 to l5oz great video and great fishing

Another great upload on a natural venue 👍👏👏you may not be interested in records! But for the viewers be interesting to way one of your specimen Dace, 1 to see how close to the (think 1.2lds) record these fish are, 2 put into proportion what a 1lb+ must look like in the hand. We have some great dace at this time of year. On the Severn at Stourport, just to name one known hot spot. Hope that makes sense, keep up the great channel and stay safe 👍😎

ive caught dace over 1lb and although these fish where a good stamp they are not record breaking yet till feb. if i was to guess the best ones where 10oz matey, have plans for the severn next season or early 2021. love the severn such a special river, tight lines matey

i still use same plastic box and net bag... the tidal Thames in london used ta be that good for dace.... being a softy southern shyte.. i would have used me fave 12ft rod an coffee grinder closed face reel, and fed directly opposite me hoping to get em much nearer.. i cant believe how far you trot down river yad never be able to do that in a match ... good too se its not just me that has tangles, cracking quality and size fish.. nice wun.. .. ..

yeah mate i need to start pulling those dace in more but on the session thyey would not stay, you had them and then shoal would drift and next one be well down. i have admit also i was rusty as hell on this session my timing and feeding wasnt great, that sounds great memories on the thames

I get confused with float shotting as people tend to use lighter shot than what's stated on the float to weigh the float down. Is it possible we could do a show explaining how to shot floats for river fishing please
