Going to a Light up a life Christmas service at out local Hospice tonight as i do every year, those people that work there are such beautiful people and should be the ones that are honoured every year not former MP's and celebrities, i could never do what they do as i would be far too emotional and unable to give those poor people they deserve and need. Love Stick to Football and I've said my little bit about how Great Gary is, but I will be honest, not sure if Stick to football is suited with an audience! It isn't the same, so hope this is not the way its going now! The beauty of Stick to the football, its just my personal opinion is the Simplistic, 4 chaps getting together sharing memories, banter and laughs! It doesn't have the same feel with an Audience.

I don't know if its a little more inhibiting for them with a live audience or we as viewers feel we're eavesdropping on an intimate chat when it's in the studio which brings its own unique pleasure. What do I know. It's all subjective. Ain't it.

I'm not sure I do tbh and I'm Northern. I always just thought it was the localised term for dinner but I remember Gary saying you have it at like 4pm-5pm and then you have your main meal later on or something? Yeah I no longer knew what tea was. Anyway, I adopted saying dinner years ago to take any confusion away when someone says "So you want some tea?" because I never knew if they meant the drink or food and it would just waste ten seconds of my life each time when I asked for clarity.

Gary Neville is an outstanding individual. A complete workaholic, the work he is doing for the hospice is just brilliant. He was a fantastic football player as well and he plays it down, but he was a very important cog in the United Team. Post career, he is just an incredible person in everything what he does. I’ve never met him, but I am sure that any time spent in his company would be in inspirational. Keep doing what you do Gary.

Brit living in States. Wrighty’s right about Route 66. Most of it is abandoned businesses. Head to Lake Tahoe. Ballon ride from a boat on the Lake lands back on the Boat. Amazing views and experience.

yeah, Brits don't really appreciate just how big the US is. You can drive for 6 hours and see absolutely nothing, (looking at you Kansas 😛). Route 66 was ok in Missouri, but you go to some of the states in the US and they are just totally open fields etc for miles and miles. I agree with Wrighty that they should have managed to incorporate the highways onto the Route, but no doubt there are regulations about it all.
