I think it's the same old English bias which is ridiculous considering Harry Maguire was criticised so much that it went the other way and people are realising it went too far. Everyone at Man Utd wants Rashford to do well, but he's not perfoming ever since that huge £350k pw contract. He's slowly becoming the next Aubameyang in no time. Even prior that, he really hadn't produced anything memorable and a constant throughout several managers being fired including Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Solkjaer, Rangnick and ETH. How Micah suddenly thought Rashford was being personally attacked and blamed it on "pressure" is extremely baffling - the truth is Rashford has a poor work ethic and seems toxic to the dressing room which is why he was dropped. Casemiro - Multiple CL winner, signed at 30 years of age, which is high but still had several years of high-level football in him. Antony - He was basically a gamble that had some flashes of brilliance (e.g. scoring v Liverpool in FA Cup), but hasn't worked out. Mount - CL winner at Chelsea, looked decent in the England squad in 2021, but is always injured - even when he played for Man Utd didn't look any good. Man Utd is the problem here, mediocrity is accepted and all the players are overpaid for not delivering. The culture and philosophy is driven by commercialism, which is down to the Glazers. Jim Ratcliffe is just another 'yes' man which is why he was taken on and not the Qataris. Amorin is trying to move away from this, but I personally think this is a bigger problem than him. United have never looked close to being a contender his entire tenure. He gets most of the forward passes. He's been the main forward for 9 years. He's 19th on the shot conversion rate. Gabriel Jesus and Darwin Nunez have an average goal involvement of 113 and 120 min per respectively and they are not considered "good 9s" just good enough chance creators but average finishers.
