Yes it's been a long time since I dropped a video on this channel. It started with fighting the weather, then Jared got married on Saturday. Tell him congrats in his comment below ⬇

Jr I love how humble you are. Like when u were moving the engine and everything back under the car you knew he wasn’t lined up. But instead of saying you gotta go this way you said I need to go this way how are you looking. It’s so subtle and most people wouldn’t have even caught that but an intelligent guy like you I know u did it on purpose and I respect that completely

I love the “while you’re in there” guys lol. While you’re swapping that LS6 you should have rebuilt it. While you have the trans out you should have rebuilt it. Heck no toss that bad boy together and rip the tires off her!!

The only while your in there thats a real good idea is rebuilding the torque tube. Bearings and couplers are a less than $300 bucks. Takes a couple hours.

It’s a special one - great color combo - no active suspension bs - now a killer drivetrain. I’m sure someone already mentioned but those body side modelings are a factory option and rarely soon on C5s (I think they look good).

I'm under the understanding that EGR and other like products that delete EPA required parts are no longer available due to the EPA has deemed them illegal even though mfgs have printed all required disclaimers as "for off-road or race use only" disclaimer. I believe that questioned ruling is being fought. Don't know the status of that however. I did do a search and found some part. I think mfg of parts may have had a delay because of the EPA attack.

"While you're in there" has to be the most expensive statement ever in car building. Sometimes you just need to get the car running and if the engine has to come out again then so be it.

yep you're right! I disagree with you on your philosophy of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" for the simple fact that you already have the engine out of the car. Now if you have any service records or dated parts to show that stuff was replaced previously that would make sense. But if you're going this far might as well do it all in one shot! Anyways, I have enjoyed this series and look forward to seeing more videos on this and other projects very soon!

It's so nice when all that stuff is just sitting there out in the open so you can easily do anything you need to. Hopefully it can stay completely together and just lift it back into place and done. I'm not fully up on how those are laid out and built. Watching now as you slide it in place 👍
