Owo stickman is back
So essentially I'll be simplifying Off The Sticks, as it was taking too long to develop. For the first part of the game, I will focus on making a bunch of minigames you play with your friends, or bots if you dont have any friends like me haha anyway all the previous progress is definitely not lost. I'm probably going to add parts of it as their own minigames later on. And even if I don't, I will still take with me all the experience from previously developing, as seen in the devlogs.
Hopefully this way, development should be much quicker, and I might actually be able to release it sometime in 2020, but I'm not too sure on the date yet, as I'm still working on a lot of planning, and i also have a ton of other game / video ideas.

I should probably clarify this a bit, as I didn't very well in the video: Yes, it does look a lot like Stick Fight from what I show here, however this is not what the game is gonna be like at all. This is simply footage of me testing guns and gameplay. Guns and "fighting" like in Stick Fight isn't even going to be a big part of the game, it will be more about the minigames. It's kinda hard to explain, but you'll understand better in the next devlog! A lot of people are also saying "Rip Off the sticks", but as mentioned in the video, I'm planning on bringing back the original story mode and similar *later* on. But first, I want to finish a simpler version of the game so you can play it. Then I will start adding the old maps you've seen in previous devlogs. Sorry if I let everyone down, but this was the best solution I could come up with if I want to release the game this century.

I think the problem with this is that it is getting way to close to Stick Fight: The Game, and farther away from a unique idea which was different from any game I had seen before. I'm worried that if you continue like this on release this will just be viewed as a Stick Fight clone.

Maybe for the incorporation of the old maps, you could do it a bit like how Superhot VR does it. It takes sections of the "normal" version of the game, and builds a challenge around that area. So for Off the Sticks, you could maybe have one minigame that takes place around a bandit camp, another one around the black knight battle, and then maybe another one around somewhere on the train. This way, the identity of Off the Sticks still stays, while keeping the scope a bit more manageable, since everythings more compartmentalised.

You should add boss levels at the end where you fight a big thing and the person who did the most damage wins, or do something like, first person to escape the prison, or hijack the plane. there could also be a team mode, escape the prison together, or your in a facility, tied to your friend and you have escape together. But back to the boss levels, there could be a greek god, giant clown, or reuse the dark knight. Here's a start of an Idea for Co-op. You start in a facility with you and Your friend (Who I'll be calling bob) back to back with you hand tied together with a futuristic extendable handcuff you and bob have to escape the facility by solving puzzles and taking advantage of the handcuffs.

I have two ideas: 1.Dual wielding weapons 2.Add a weapon that deals no damage but has extremely high recoil. You could jump extremely high with it.

IDK if someone already commented this but maybe a minigame where whoever gets the most damage on the sack or like holds the sack the longest wins. If you go with the holding sack idea maybe make the sack a unique weapon.
